Having changed the way Sky Poker calculate the cash for points this month,is there any plans to change it back!! I seem to be earning a third (at most) of the points i was for thr last few months! Im not someone who plays a hand every 20 minutes so cant understand why the change is so drastic. I welcome others thoughts and comments on this matter.
its a better system they have introduced and its now the way it should be.
what i dont agree with is how many points you get per £ in rake as its not the same on cash tables as it is for sng/mtt but ive been thru this before. 6 points per £ raked in cash 10 points per £ raked sng/mtt.
Viney i play with you alot and you are extremely tight none the less.
I no a few regs are bound to be feeling this but as tintin pointed out it should have been this way all along!.
I guess thats why my points have increased dramatically as i play near enough everyhand bar j2 off!!! so yea as dohh pointed out you need to loosen up a bit.
Youll earn what you work for afterall everyone states that you shouldnt play for points but to beat the level and just take the cash back as a bonus.
If you dont play hands then yea your not gunna get much back eg:)
Not sure mate maybe try adding a few more hands to your range and include hands like pocket jacks and ace king suited see how it goes. Best of luck Posted by bearlyther
Viney, you seem to be getting a lot of stick on here for being v tight... I therefore have a challenge, get a multi street bluff through vs a reg who has posted on this thread, and post it on here...
Loving the tight image and i can see where u r coming from guys lol! however as i never show my cards i surely cant have it al the time, can i?? Have enjoyed my first post and the banter, and realise im not that gd but find it a relaxing change from studying horse rscing snd sports betting all day!

In Response to Re: Cash for points : Can Vinney adjust his game ! This thread may have given birth to a new Vinney in the chase for more C4P ) I find it very intresting that someone who bets on sports and horses, plays the way they do. Nothing againsy Vinney, I like him ) Posted by rancid
leave Vinney alone! his game is fine and solid. Dont listen to em Vinney you keep at it!
Ive not looked into the cash for points and how it works, before it changed or now. i get that its all bout aggression = points now, so i have a scenario that maybe someone can answer plse. 10p/30p nl table. Player A raises to 90p,player B reraises to 2.70,player A calls. Player A flops a set and checks, Player B bets £6, player A calls. Player A checks turn Player B bets £13,Player A Calls. Player A checks river,Player B shoves all in. Player A calls and wins. Who gets most points out of the hand because obv Player B was the aggressor throughout??
equal points. They both contributed the same amount of rake and so get the same amount of points. I doubt you'll be in too many 3bet pots anyway ;-) u know what a 3bet is?

No idea Vinney ) Wouldn't worry about it, just carry on being player A and taking everyone's money - you can't go wroung )
Percival has had a cple of shandys!! Never played with him/her so they r talking shi te!! If its all to do with the rake thats paid then surely u r better winning the big pots reguarly than just bluffing ure ar se off and losing!! Lol!!!!
lololol. I have played u before actually. I have a note on u saying 'calls 3b oop w/ QQ rather than 4b/gii' !!! w/e u contribute, you get back in points, doesnt matter who's more aggressive
