I was playing a £400 (£5.75 buy-in) tournie today, and lying in last place with 64 runners ahead of me needed nothing short of a small miracle. Blinds were rising and was almost at the point of being blinded out,, a couple of bad beats, or being raised all in on my raises by bigger stacks left me in a dire situation.,,,that was until this hand... I was sat  BB  with A4 off suit and everyone folded around to the SB..I thought all or nothing... the the SB raises all in...so I called... down came 2 more nines to go with his 9/5 suited spade...I'd resigned to the fact that that was tournament over.... but lady luck smiled

within 20mins of this hand I had gone from short stack to chip leader..... I ended the tournament in 2nd place... the moral of the story??? a little luck, patience and the flip of a coin.. even if you are down to the knuckle there is still hope to reach the final table and cash.....in the long run it was the right call...but is it always the right thing to do even in those circumstances

A little too patient me thinks in letting yourself go down to 4bb! Forget the fact the fact you got out of the situation, you should never ever be in a spot where you only have 4bb left in an MTT unless you have literally just lost a pot which left you with that stack the hand before. As for the call your you should obv be snapping it off.
