NL10: Facing A Flop Overshove / Nut Flush Draw + 2 Overs

Relatively readless on both opponents in these hands. Both are pretty new to the tables and I'm new at the level.

Hand 1: A massive overshove and I've flopped top pair, decent kicker. Two hands make sense to beat me (KQ and 44) so do we call? When I say they make sense, I'm not sure what does make sense here.

Hand 2: Oppo has not raised his small blind before but I think he's only been at the table for one or two orbits. What are we doing on the flop? I'm not sure 3-betting pre-flop would have been better but I wouldn't mind it and am open to argument. As usual, I've been pressing the raise button alot but pretty sure it's too soon for oppo to know it.

Hand 1 i think is utterly player dependant , ppl will say getitng your stack in here is very bad but id dissagree , I couldnt see someone pushing there with a set but yet reads are helpfull in this situation. Its either Kx gones crazy or some form of k4? j 10 dimonds eg.

Hand 2  again is player dependant are they tight but as you dont really no i dont mind just calling to see a flop , you cant call his c bet as you hit your flush its gunna shut down your action most the time , i would raise to £1.40 and go from there.

Hand 1, I probably just fold, even more so like 140xBB deep.

Hand 2, I'm deffo raising the flop and pretty happy abuot getting it in if we can.

hand 1-think i defo fold dont want 2 gamble this time

hand 2-yeah defo raise to around £1.60-2ish on flop and call if they shove imo

At least Kidwiz doesn't think the call on the first hand was terrible. I convinced myself that KQ and 44 wouldn't shove and it was more likely Kx or a draw. Pretty much knew it was a mistake but wondered whether the reasoning was completely flawed. On the other hand, for £13 I found out how easy this guy was to play against.

On the second hand, I made it £2.10 and called the shove. Thought it was fine. Just checking.

2nd one I like flatting the flop, but it depends on lots of things
