Not being funny, but I can guarantee that one of the regs, most of whom have taken the time to reply on the several hundred 'bad beat' posts you love to frequent us with, will tell you not to limp pre and it would not be the first time you have been given this advice.

Not that I'm trying to be harsh, as I'm far from being a semi decent player myself, but perhaps your 'bad luck' as you call it is more a result of bad play than anything.

Take the advice that the others have offered previously mate and Don't...Limp...Pre....

That aside, happy xmas and gl.

Dnt think the limp in O.P is too bad, I'd prefer to be deeper to complete in the sb, but a decent hand to do it with.

Craig I'm not sure what's going on in your hand. The line you take is worrying, but more worrying is your reasoning!

Bet flop. Bet turn. Shove river!!!!

Why would you ever check that flop?

sorry about that post i wasn't thinking at the time and TBH i do this on a regular basis with sets like the KKK, two pairs middle to low sets and over pairs i still show aggression only Q sets+ i check.

A pre flop raise would have likely taken the pot down right there. Its not a bad beat really, you allowed 23c to see a flop and see a chaseable draw.
