You had 3 big blinds they have to call you with any 2 cards you have no fold equity what so ever.  If he had 72 offsuit it would be correct for him to snap you off with your stack size.  You only have 58%  here against these 2 hands.

+1 you should never have the stack size you had as you have no fold equity.  When you have between 10-15bbs in tournaments you should be picking lots of spots to shove and 3 bet jam you never have odds to just call a raise out of this stack size.  Stack size awareness is cruicial in tournaments.
