Laptop or PC??

edited January 2013 in Poker Chat
Hi all,
Just wondering what do most players prefer? And what is the good and bad with either for mainly playing poker. I have put enough money aside to buy this weekend but very much in 2 minds which to buy? Please help and give me your opinions.

Thanks

PC will always be better performance wise. Laptop for convenience or if you have limited space. Wd recommend PC specialist online for either.

If it's primary use is to be for playing poker, a PC is definately the way to go.  Probably the best investment I made last year was switching from a laptop to a PC.

PC for me, generally better performance and a bigger screen for multi-tabling.

All dn to how/where you prefer to play. If its in front of the telly the lappy is obv gonna be preferable.

    PC Specialist are very good.

PC (rather than lappie) unless you need the flexibility you get from a laptop.

if u r just playing at home  pc

also if u want to multi table either now or in the future, think about which one to buy.
the more tables you want to play...the better the pc might need to be.
also it's best to buy a dedicated graphics card with pc for multi-tabling.
    best i can do mate.

Laptops are great for doing what they're designed for. ie being portable.

A PC is a much better option if you're never going to need to leave the house with it and you have the space.

You get much more for your money and it will generally last you alot longer too.
