5 chips is...a bit of a handicap stack, but it's still possible to win the whole tournament with it. It would be even less fair to deny someone the chance to win a tournament even if they are extremely short stacked just so someone can claim a head when they still had chips.
The best solution to this would have been to have had enough chips to put this player out of the event in the first place.
Nice hand though. Got a bit lucky dodging the outs, but it was played right IMO.
He went down to either 1 or 2xBB very early in an MTT and went on to win it.
