Favourite ever?
Ok folks,theres been a recommend a movie thread,a tv past and present thread and favourite tunes to listen to thread.This is a bit different.Hopefully theres a lot of footy fans out there in the big old sky poker world.Let us know your fave ever game you,ve seen and why.I'll start.
Being a liverpool fan,its gotta be istanbul 25/05/05.What a game.The date is significant too.Cos i got married on the 25/05/06.A year to the day.Not much chance of forgettin that date,eh?

I,d also been to watch Liverpool as a kid in some famous games (in the Hanson Lawrenson , Dalglish years ) but that was nothing compared to PNE vs Blackpool
Best game as Preston fan was about 4 or 5 years back .
We were going for the top 6 in Championship and local rivals Blackpool were fighting for relegation. It was at Bloomfield Rd when the away end had no roof but despite being winter it was a glorious sunny day . We came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 . We got back to Preston 20 minutes later and the whole of Friagate (middle of town full of pubs) ) was like one big street party packed with thosands of Preston fans singing and dancing on tables . Was a gr8 day and night
Ps - As an England fan - best and worst game - Watched it at local snooker club . that night in Turin. One minte extasy - next minte we were out and for once we,d been the better team and deserved to go through to Final in which we would have been huge favorites against Argentina - or Maradonna and 10 other guys
Another memorable one was my only England away game where i witnessed the first PNE player in David Nugent score for England in the 3-0 win against Andorra since Sir Tom Finney. (Steve Mclaren got booed from start to finish)
