Could somebody advise me if there is a poker outs calculator whereby you don't know the 'opponents' hand. ie like you're playing for real. why do calculators bother in showing an opponents hand, whats the point? its the same with training quizzes, where you have to work out outs based on you and your opponents hand.

FlashFlush is correct; in Pokerstove (totally free) you can assign your opponent a range rather than a fixed hand. It is very flexible, a great tool, highly recommended.
