    as a celtic fan caley thistles price of 5/1 jumped out at me during the week and even more refreshing is Neil Lennons frank and honest comments that he has more than one eye on midweek Juventus game

    ive already had me fingers stung backing Poland against my country this week and beat 2 of my accums, but will be backing against my club this weekend as a trip to Inverness in the past has thrown up the odd banana skin and theyve been going really great guns this year, including winning at Parkhead the last time the 2 met

    also like southampton to upset the champs, and in form barnsley away to a Boro team recently thrashed by Ipswich, but are albeit much better at home

    Yeah m8 . It didnt post my liability but it was about £200 - Just got £26 profit tho - 5% commision and minus the 2 quid on Dembele for 1st scorer (since Bale scored after 8 mins) If it had been 0-0 and Adebayour had come on then i,d have had to take a slight loss and back him so.s not to lose £200. I was ware yesterday that he was to be assesed before todays game so just kept my eye on it when the starting line ups were announced

    Ps - How good is Bale ? Didn,t realise he was only 23 as well - You could have bet on John Terry yesterday at 1/30 even though he,s already been ruled out with an injury

    I,ve though about doing this on the horses but am not to clued up . For example what time do the non-runners get announced _ was just wondering if you can find out quick enough to lay them before they get changed

    Where did you hear that about him still being in Africa - i wasn,t aware of that

    I,ve lost money before on the exchanges by betting on horses - getting early prices . I know a lot of ppl do it for cheltenham for example - Put bets on months before to get the best price but if it pulls out you lose your money, so just getting a bit back by keeping up to date with the latest news

    commentators at start of match said he hadnt bothered his backside to make it home or words to that effect!! and that dempsey was on USA duty away to Honduras and he was back on time. unless ive really misheard it which is also quite possible i hasten to add!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i have an uncanny knack of backng horses antepost at big big prices then their prices shorten ridiculously then they still run no kind of race alot of the time so i would like to test the water in terms of backing to lay but id be a complete novice at it like but will maybe look into it at some point - on way home from down royal racecourse on boxing day my mate made a quick 50 quid off the newcastle v man utd match inrunning as becasue it was such a yoyo game, he was able to cash out with that profit in space of about 10 mins during the second half which is always a handy feature!

    Absolutely Gutted

    I did a similar bet with Sturridge in midweek for the England game and thought i,d been paid out on it , but after checking my account now i couldn,t see anything for the Adebayour bet so phoned up Betfair. Apparently i got it wrong and its like a normal bookie where if they,re not on the field at the time of the first goal it gets voided so if you also bet on someone to score 1st and they dont start you get your money back.

    I really thought i was onto something here although in Horse racing its different as if you place a bet ante-post and it comes up a non-runner you don,t get your money back

    It did all sound a bit to good to be true
