COMMUNITY NIGHT- Every Wednesday on Sky Poker (including new Community Freeroll)
Hey everyone,
As a new initiative on Sky Poker, Wednesday evenings will now be known as 'Community night' with a real affordable and feel good factor driving the site throughout the midweek blues
With the new Rebuy Main event at 8pm as the centre piece, there will be a huge range of new, affordable and fun tournaments to play between 5:15pm and 10:45pm in what will be a bonanza of feel good poker.
But to add to the festivities, a brand new 'Community FR' will run at 6pm that will give away a whopping £330 worth of FREE tournament seats for the night ahead.
Here is the list of brand new tournaments on a Wednesday night (entry fee is last figure on list):
5:15- £50 Community B/H- 35p buy-in
6:00- Community FR- Giving away £330 worth of tournament tickets away for FREE
6:15- £75 Velocity- 55p
6:45- £100 Hurricane B/H- £1.15
7:15- £150 Lightening- £2.20
7:45- £200 Hurricane BH- £3.45
8:00- Main Event
8:15- Mini Event
8:30- £200 Lightening BH- £3.45
8:45- £150 Supercharged- £2.20
9:00- Side Event
9:15- £100 Express- £1.10
9:45- £75 Blitz BH- 60p
9:55- £200 Tornado- £5.50

My only critiscm would be these are almost all super fast turbo structures, it would be nice to have one or two with more standard or even deepstack structures too.
After consideration of the suggestions made, an addition to tonights Community Night Schedule will be:
-The Two Pound Titan- £2.20 buy-in- £100 Guaranteed prizepool- 5,000 chips and 10 minute blinds. Intended to be the slow burning tournament that takes you through the entire Community Wednesday schedule.
This tournament will start at 7pm.

you have a velocity and a fearless and both have 4 min blinds, why have 2 names for the same thing. other events have same structures but different names also
event 1 doesnt seem to have the head prizes seperate from the prizepool.
last event is just listed as a bounty hunter when it has 5 min blinds. think you need to add speed into the title there as i assume people will think its a normal 10 min blind structure.

Just like to say great night last night well done, played most of the games came out with a little profit but most of all it was a fun night because of the low entry fee lets hope it stays
The frenzy was great fun and I'd love to see a few more of those
For future it would be nice to see at least one tournament that is not a turbo / speed structure and maybe even a deepstack as alot of the community regulars prefer these games.
It would also be nice to somehow strengthen the 'community' link and try to drive more traffic to the forum, maybe a league or an incentive via the forum?
I may get better at these as time goes on - but compared to my usual deepstacks these were a bit of a shock to my system lol.
Will be up for it again next week - I'm a sucker for punishment
