Out of depth. Taking a shot

edited February 2013 in The Poker Clinic

What would you put both opponents on here? How would you play the hand differently? When player "Y" leads out on flop 3 way with initial raiser still to act what does this mean do you think? Is it best to call with "X" still to close the action or raise. Would raising be turning my hand face up? What would you put both opponents on. I read "X"s hand correctly but was so confused to what "Y" what was doing -Adx ?? 4s? 6s?

I like the flat call when faced with the donk bet(raising there does look strong), and i dont mind the rest of your play its pretty standard after imo because when X raises he prob not folding now, he is likely to have  has either KdK, AdA, unlucky if its Aces lol.

Yeah I though AdA/KdK when he snapped. Was 10d10. What is Y leading out with and then flatting 57 with do you think? Hes one of the most well known at high stakes - the fact he had me struggling with a set said it all lol. 4s?6s Ad6/4/x ?

    1010 lol.

I suppose he donks over pair like 99, 88, or 66, AdQ type hand...... he cant have wide range imo even if loose, but i suppose depends on the opener if he is a fish or not and by the looks of it he is a bit bad imo, so calling range could be wider from the sb, 2 pair is a possability.

But to me when he calls the re-raise( it is abit weird!) it narrows his range to pair/draw combo or nut draw... but i cant think of a single hand that i would play  this way so i honestly i don't know.

surely u can narrow range pre because of raise size
