Easy snap fold pre for me mate, UTG raise followed by 3bet, what are you beating ?
Flop, you have a draw and with the bet he makes have decent odds to draw, however after an all in and call of all in you then call off 150 bb's with JUST a flush draw not sure I need to tell you this but long term you are burning money here and it doesn't matter one jot that you won this pot.
Also you say you you were down 3-4 BI's early at NL10 then went to 5 BI's down, why would you then move up a level where losing will crush you very badly ?
EDIT : AA hand, pre ok, flop gotta bet bigger, why would you bet just half pot on wet board ?
Turn bet bigger again.
River when he bets out why do you just minraise back it's bizarre, you HAVE to raise more here (stick him in), luckily he piled the rest in but many times he could just flat and you lose value.

Gimme a brk - it was 8.30 in the morning after a long sesh - Just an error which worked out ok , but as for the !st hand I,m getting it in all day long there i,m drawing to the NUT flush and NUT str8 on a Non paired board (that would have course made a difference) . Yeah I could lose 3 buy ins at NL10 but could live with myself that i,d made the right decison simply based on pot odds

But you're just gambling and you simply do not need to at that level.
Appreciate the comments but KQ suited on the button at NL20 in a multi way pot - You can,t fold it every time and I still think the call was the right one on the flop but i,ll post it on the Poker Clinic and see what the experts say.
i do know where your coming from but i just think on this occasion its a snap call
The KQs is a fold pre flop. What hand 3 bets here that you're happy being up against? I did post on the clinic about this hand as well and said it was standard but thinking about it more, you have 9 clubs, and 3 jacks (the 4th jack is included in the 9 clubs) so at best you've got 12 outs but it's likely some of the other players hold some of them. But say you have 12 outs, that means you got about 35% by my reckoning so you're gonna win about 1 in 3 of these and you're calling £28 to win £74 so you're not actually getting the price and even if it was marginal, it's a gamble that you can't take when you've got 10% of your BR on 1 table, hence why I don't think you should be playing this level.
I know Pod said you should give it a go but if you're not rolled then you're not rolled (and you're not). You could be Phil Ivey but if you sit at a table where you have around 15BIs then variance could easily get you.

Only guessing but i,d say its about 42-43% , at least thats what i thought at the time
Just played the 1K pts Freeroll which you can also buy in for a £1 - There was a good overlay and I,d recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their MTT game - 10 min blinds
variance got me this time but got it in good - ionically a j on the river again
Yeah I played that 1k GTD tourney too. Did ok but missed out on a cash. Got my 2k starting stack up to 5k then got my KK in pre against AJ, and naturally he flopped the ace. He only had about 3.5k so that took me back to 1.5k. Worked my way back up to 5k again, by this point blinds were about 200/400 and I lost a race for my tourney life Cash started at 80th and I think I came about 125th.
Good work with the odds Dude, I was a little bit out but I knew it was no where near 40%+
I started this thread to sort some leaks before the UKIPT, however i found it really has helped developed my game, therefore im going to keep updating, but starting again (so to say). So this was back to day 1. Partly because im not sure what day im on again. lol.
Anyways that means Starting BR is £80.44 so 20BIs a quite comfortable.
Back to the grind. I done 2 tables for 1 hr 45 mins had a slow start but when i got going i won big pots.

Pleased with this session in the end, but was lacking in confidence due to a few things which i wish to remian private atm. Ive spoke to a few players away from public view and theyve gave me some pretty good advice. This has helped and getting a couple of big pots helped too.
im lovin the pre flop raise sizes! you know jj you gonna have to do a brand new monster thread on "how to" for each level now and how to change your game moving up, coz somewhere down the line 10x rasies cant be a good thing. keep going don so happy its going well for you, please remember though a little dip here or there isnt the end of the world bud.

The JJ hand inparticular im annoyed with. The AJ one i should fold pre i know that myself.
m8 aj scenario hand is what a lot of poker players go through day in day out its a flip m8 it happens(i dislike ur flat on the button though i 3bet or fold there but thats just my opinion) just because u lose doesnt mean its bad play.
gl btw your bankroll is climbing nicely bud. I remember havin around 100 in my acc ages ago and i got affected if it dropped below the 100 and i find that silly now lol because it was just my mentality i guess....so one advice dont let THAT affect you lol
edit : aj v k4s hand btw was 65%-35% you being fav (wasnt a flip as i said )
