David Miller, 101 not out off 38 balls today in an amazing match winning innings.

He's played 7 games, and is 4 runs off the top 5 for the leading run scorers in the comp.

Have him e/w @ 125/1, in the v first post on this thread.

All the people above him have played 12 games.

    "If only"

    sighhhhhh.

£3.03 on Punjab to chase down 175 v RCB @ 12/5 in running. (half way stage)

    *edit, easy :) +£7.07

Totally fed up with the IPL now it drags on far too long but there's still time to meet my objective and 'beat the bookies'.

    Ongoing profit = MINUS 50PENCE

    I need to bet!

ugh, I'm 50p down going in to the playoffs.

Haven't really watched the last couple of weeks, I always underestimate how long & tedious this comp is, but I'm still in with a shout of beating the bookies! Even if it is for only a couple of quid.

At this stage I'd always favour the superior bowling attacks, so it's SRH & Mumbai for me, hope Malinga gets it right.

    Evens individiually, 3/1 the double.

Think Chennai will then have too much batting strength for SRH (contradicting myself here, but the above 2 games are very close in all departments, this one isn't really), and we'll be looking at a Chennai Mumbai final.

    £5 Mumbai & SRH double @ 3/1

First moan, prob a big toss to lose this. Malinga and co much more effective defending a total.

    Fear the worst.......

    Good call Shanx.

    That was a hammering.

I'm still not convinced about Chennais bowling attack though, and Mumbai bowled v poor.

Will be sticking with Mumbai for the final should they come through the play off on Friday, at what I'd expect to be odds against after that showing.

Just a straight fiver on SRH today @ evens.

If I don't get a winner today or on Friday, the "do whatever it takes to get in to profit" bet on the final could be an expensive one.

Ongoing profit = Minus 5 n half quid.

This isn't the "spectacular" end to the thread that I initially hoped for.

    I'm £10.50 down.

Mumbai are 2/1 to win the tournament.

I'm putting £5.50 on them to take it down.

Which will make me up about a quid.

Can't wait for the f*in thing to be over! ha.

    C'mon Mumbaiiiiii.

    Result!

Mumbai thrash Chennai in the final, so my final bet of £5.50 @ 2/1 is a winner to give a profit of £11

Was -£10.50 going in to the final, so I've officially made a profit.

    END TOTALS

    No of bets = 29
No of winning bets = 11
No of losing bets = 18
% of winning bets = I've forgotten how to work out 11 as a percentage of 29. Not sure I'd like the answer anyway.

    Overall profit/loss = + 50 English pence.

Mission accomplished, bookies well and truly BEATEN

    Never again. fu IPL.

And fu England & particuarly Jonathan Trott for f^in this test match up.
