cryptic puzzle, anyone?

poker players love a good puzzle to grapple with, right? the following are cryptic clues leading mainly to forum members, but also to a sky poker presenter and a well known poker player. for those not familiar with the cryptic clue or unsure on how to read them, consider the following clue which contains a definition and a cryptic component:

ex liverpool striker mutiliated dead girl [8]

this yields the answer aldridge

[definition]ex liverpool striker[aldridge] mutilated[anagram indicator] dead girl [anagram of 'aldridge']

basically, try and ignore the surface meaning, break the clue down to little parts, solve them and reconstruct for the answer. the following  clues will not contain a definition, merely a cryptic component leading to forum members, a sky presenter and a prominent poker player. some are easy, some a bit fiendish, some assume some knowledge of the cryptic crossword clue form / grammar and one assumes knoweledge of liverpool slang for a certain recreational drug, ho-hum.  good luck: 

1 Tight player flipped and doubled up [6] tintin

2 Heard he spotted a yob [8] cenachav

3  I'm lost with a second shuffle [8] smitalos

4 Back to back articles on sound of something more vulgar [4,6] anna fowler

5 Takes trainees out of common post-flop line [10] calcalfold

7 Sound of time and temprature [5] tikay

8 Overheard: ogle a$$ without crucial component and shout 'uranium' [10] idonkcallu

9 He's sharp and on birds [5]  talon

10 Drilling without force and one radius [10] borinloner

11 Common ecstasy tablet in liverpool and sound of line leads to questions [7] garyqqq

12 Orally pack plant with energy [4,4] phil ivey

13 The most welsh dale without victory or direction [7] maxally

14 Castrate youth leader [5] geldy

15 TV channel, not on freeview or virgin [3,4] sky dave

16 Animal with little hesitation and time gets top score [10] lambert180

note, some answers contain numbers

Temperature can be measured in Kelvin = K
