i have also come across abusive behaviour while playing, not always aimed at me and sometimes people making very insulting comments towards people. i try my best to ignore these comments and will mosstly only get involved in chat at tables if it seems like a friendly table. you are entitled to play any 2 cards you want at any time this is your right good or bad play it is up to you. as someone very recently told me if we all played poker the same way it would be a very stale game. so play anycards you want and mostly enjoy yourself.

Always good to engage them in a battle of wits as usually they don't have the brains or vocabulary to compete and end up embarrassing themselves
If you have got a tad lucky and the abuse starts tell them to build a bridge
usual reply is why the fook would I build a bridge
so you can get over it !
usually goes quiet after that

I have in the past been known for 1 or 2 remarks in the chatbox. I have managed to control this more or less and now limit myself to the odd "ffs ", like tonight when my AA was beaten by 10 4.

But I have to say apart from 1 comment aimed at myself and another player that he hoped we died the comments are fairly tame or infrequent on here compared to a well known site that has recently restarted.
