one unhappy customer!!!

was playing a bit of omaha tonight, 1 cash table and 2 stt tables, all going well but got disconnected from cash table and turbocharger, but still playing DYM table, tried getting tables back up but kept turning white, turbochargers are very quick so couldn't get back on to table and guy stole my chips, oh and this was halfway through game when i had chip lead, so gone to live chat and asked why i'm on 1 table but other 2 wont play, getting told by live chat that this is my fault and nothing to do with them. they are now saying its because i had 3 tables open and my connection cant cope with this many tables, that's so funny because i was playing on 4 tables the other day!!

they are now telling me that i got back to the table and played the last few hands because i wasn't blinded out,  only had 5 chips left so that means i am automatically all in!!

they tell me no refund is possible because its nothing to do with them as the other player was not timed out!!!

i have a lot of things with sky like my broadband, sky plus, telephone etc and all of this will be getting cancelled, why is it they always blame our connections, so easy to i suppose!!

i use IE6, was playing 4 tables during last weeks TKO, but they assure me its because i was playing 3 tables.

disgusted by the live chat team

its just totally unacceptable and i for one am fuming with the excuses they kept coming out with.

i cant say no more otherwise i will probably get banned!

Took 5 min for the table to load for the TK challenge game tonight. With 500 starting chips and a 1 min blind level I had 100 chips left and blinds where 150 300 so i had no chance

I to have the full sky package and will be looking to chance in the new year.

It was rubbish to start with over a year ago and got better but lately its gone very slow and freezes a lot around 9 pm every evening. play anymore than two tables and its dead.

If sky broadband cant deliver skypoker what hope have they got.

Two points. Firstly, IE appears to be becoming increasingly incapable of running Flash programs but it seems to be totally random whether it opens them up or not! Try downloading the mozilla firefox browser and see if that helps.
Secondly, if you want proper answers to questions, it maybe worth e-mailing customer services. People don't seem to get anywhere with the live chat team other than stuck up their own....... you get my drift!!!
Worth a try and if none of this works I'm sorry for wasting your time! gl

So what the Sky Team is telling you is that there own brand isnt good enough ??

personally i cant see it being anything to do with your connection as if it was, chances are that all your browsers would of closed down. If you can get the games all loaded up to start the tournys then the internet connection is ok.

I dont think i would let it go if it was me, not when money is at stake, have you had anymore luck in getting the money back by the time i type this post ?

Also i would recommend using firefox webby if you are multitabling, because firefox uses less of the CPU when more than one window is open compared to IE, but if you are only playing one table then IE is better.

I have to say my only experience of live chat team is poor as well.

Which is why there are so many posts on forum about it. It seems the only way to get things sorted.

By the way Im redundant at mo and specialist in customer care, GIZZA JOB

tbh my experiences of the customer service team have been very good... when the site had its problems like last week i got refunded for 2 games i couldn't get back onto. Just make sure you are polite when you speak to them and maybe they will be more inclined to help.

thanks rich, anything that you can do will be appreciated and better than the response i have had so far, just seems strange when other players post on other thread saying they have had problems and received a refund but then i get told its my connection, my connection is through sky broadband so are they telling me that there equipment isn't good enough? i'm not very clever when it comes to computers but this seems to be what they are saying?
