Can you also advise whether you were using the Download client or the web browser when this happened? If you are using the web browser, which browser are you using? (Chrome/ Firefox etc..)
How do you clear cookies please?? I am useless with computers. Also if I can't clear the cookies will the tables eventually revert back to the new style again??? Posted by waller02
Hi Waller,
If you have reverted to the old tables they will be active for 7 days. If you do want to play on the new tables before then, you can play on a different platform. For example if you were playing on the download client then you could play on the web browser. If you were already playing on the web browser then you could play on the download client or a different broswer (Chrome, Firefox etc..)
This means that you won't have to clear the cookies on your machine. Hope this helps.
It's awful. I've already emailed and complained. The support for it is rubbish too, even your help desk people don't know what they are doing on it. Problems - 1) No way to get a mini-view of the table. This makes it almost impossible to play more than one tournament at a time. 2) Graphics keep screwing up. I end up with other players avatars all over the table, their cards in different places, random blocks of graphics just popping up all over the table. It's horrible, confusing, and amateurish. 3) The time bar is less obvious. The old time bar was FAR clearer in letting you know how much time you had, and whose turn it was. The current one is a lot less conspicuous. 4) The old format was not as flashy, or glitzy but I don't care about that. I care about ease of use and gameplay. Both were better in the old format. I've not completely stopped playing but I'm playing less than I would have been and I'm actively looking to find a different poker provider who has a table layout that I like. It's a shame as I've been with Sky for a bloody long time. Posted by Custer90

Really sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems. Hopefully I can help resolve these for you.
The Mini View function still exists on the new software. You can enable mini view by resizing the table by pulling the window to get the size that you desire. You can also open all of the tables you play in mini view by clicking the "Options" menu at the top right of the table. Select "Gameplay" and turn "Open in Mini View" on. If you then save these settings as default this will open all future tables in mini view.
The new software also gives you the option to tile all open tables. If you do have more than one table open you can tile them side by side by clicking the tile icon at the top right of the screen. I dont know if you've seen the thread about it, but as a mini view user you may find this thread useful.
With regards to the issue you are experiencing with the graphics. If you could help us by answering a couple of questions then we can look to help resolve this.

We understand that this is a big change, which is why we have the fallback option available for as long as we feel it is required. Hopefully the feedback that we get on the forum will help us to make the improvements that the users want.
One small issue. sometimes at the end of a game i have typed GG in chat box and it has auto regd for next available game. Not a huge issue as it does notify you of this. Other than that I think a big thumbs up for the new software!

I have spoken to Customer Care about this and was offered half the buy in back which I refused, as far as I'm concerned there is either a problem or there isn't. If there is it should be a full refund!
Hi all As many of you will know and have spotted, we rolled-out the new Sky Poker software today on Tournaments and Sit & Go games too. Although the new software has more features and improvements, we realise that some people might take some time to get used to it. So for a while, we have enabled the option to allow you to revert to the previous version. This is in case you'd like to go back to it whilst you get used to the new version or if you have any issues. Obviously this is not an option that will be available forever as it's just not practical to keep many versions of the same software going. So if you wish to do that, here's how: Click the Help & Support tab above the chat box, scroll down to “Problems with the new tables”. This will then produce the following message. Upon confirming that you want to use the old tables you will need to close the table(s) that you are currently on and reopen them from the lobby. You can revert back to the new style tables by clearing the cookies on your machine. We'd encourage people to try the new software and give us any feedback in the 'Feedback Area' menu on the forum. Just played my last game on Sky.New software either freezes or closes altogether.Dont get problems like this on other sites so cant be my computer or internet connection.
new software very laggy. cant play hands as screen freezies .and by the time you come back ,the hand has been folded. it seems to get worse the longer the games go on. was playing on the browers with internet exployer
I like the new software, but everytime i'm moved table or a table breaks in an MTT it automatically freezes and i have to shut down and re-launch table from lobby. is there a quick fix for this?
Overall I like the new software and it didn't take long at all to get used to. But I am finding it very laggy. Every hand there is some lag and by the time it has caught up, the action is so quick I cannot see what happened in the hand. I often hve to go into the hand history to see what happened.

I play on windows, my browser is google, until playing on sky have never played internet poker, mainly because of my computer skills, play a fair amount of live poker at various casino's and an annual trip to vegas, This not seeing my opponents cards and the larger icon for time run down which gives the illusion you have less time to think is totally ruining it for me
There is no help + support tab for cash tables, so how do you change from new to old version and vice versa? Currently I am playing on the old version for cash tables and it won't let me change to the new version? (not that I mind too much because I prefer it) but wanted to start getting used to the new version (also heard there is a classic layout so wanted to see what that was like!)

Hello,
There is a Help & Support tab on all tables. If you launch a table the Help & Support tab is above the chat box. If you then scroll down to 'Problems with the new tables?' you can click the button to use the old tables on the pop up.
As you say the new classic view may be what you are looking for. This can be accessed by clicking the options in the top left corner of the table, Going to Display and Change Table Theme. If you then scroll along to 'The classic look and feel' and choose this theme this will set this for you.

Is there a way of having a larger chat window without resizing the complete table?
