I wont go into my background of betting but i used to work in a bookies i think u can make a fair amount of money on certain races here goes each way in 8-9 runner races with a long odds on shot in the race for example 1/4 fav  8/1 2nd fav  25/1 bar these 2  back the 2nd fav at 8/1 each way u cant lose gets places u make a lil profit if it wins happy days make a lot no bookies on course dnt take these bets each way in a 8 runner race with a odds on shot good theory ?

    i think u can make a fair amount of money on certain races

    here goes each way in 8-9 runner races with a long odds on shot in the race

    for example 1/4 fav  8/1 2nd fav  25/1 bar these 2  back the 2nd fav at 8/1 each way u cant lose gets places u make a lil profit if it wins happy days make a lot

    no bookies on course dnt take these bets each way in a 8 runner race with a odds on shot

    If you think this happens so often then why are you not rich?And why doesn't everyone do it?
    Bookies are clued up on this and won't let you place any sort of decent bet.
    For someone whos "worked in a bookies" I'm surprised at yer;)

    there aint no way to beat the bookies, this is silly logic and as an ex bookie im suprised you think this would work!!! if there was a way to cream money out of the bookies consistently then im sure some einstein would have worked it out and bookies would be closing all over the counrty.

    only way i can think of to beat them is if you had endless amounts of money and you set a target to say make a £100 a day ( which would be pointless if you had endless amounts of money. )
    you bet £100 on the first favourite which has to be a evens or above, if it loses you double the stake to £200 and bet on the next one and repeat until you have a winner, likelyhood is there will be a favourite that wins priced evens or better every day.

    Bit like the system used on roulette which is a waste of time as would this be on the horses .
    If 1st 5 faves lose it then costs you £3200 to bet on fav in 6th race , if it wins at evens you are only £100 up for the day if not down £6300 .

    It's identical to the roulette system yeh, but it's not a waste of time. It just doesn't work in roulette because it gets to a point where your stake is capped.

    On horses/football/tennis/darts/rugby etc it wouldn't be the case (unless you get to a point where your max bets with every single firm still don't add up to the required amount to stake to double your previous bet)

    You wouldn't use £100 as the starting point either, that's far too risky and it wouldn't take long for the numbers to be huge.
    In theory the system can't lose, it'd just take a very long time to make any sort of money.

    I tried this approach at blackjack once thinking it would be a good idea. i.e. lose a hand double the bet. Started with 50p bet thinking that was small enough. Anyway long story short lost £120. You only have to lose 9 hands on the bounce using this system to be down £250 quid!

    gg me and havent played blackjack since! Lesson learnt!

    I think it can work.

    If you start from 25p stake, to give yourself a big cushion.

    Takes about 1 minute per spin, we win 50% of spins long term, so 30x 25p per hour = £7.50 per hour.

    You'd need lots of online casinos open at once, and just rotate which ones you use to prevent them catching on.

    Better than minimum wage innit! You can watch breaking bad while you earn too :D

    Tried this system a few times on play money to see what the outcome would be . Every time ended up broke or min bet required to make up losses was above table max .
    I would not even consider this worth trying even starting at the 25p level because very soon I would be flat broke .

    Sounds good in theory but in my opinion waste of time .

    All for a bit of Breaking Bad though so with you on that one .

    Just had a go @ 50c

    10 mins to win $10

    38 spins.
    18 losses.
    20 wins.
    Highest stake = $32 (6 consecuative losses, won on 7th spin)

    Just have to hold your nerve, and have a bankroll.

    The spins are very quick, ideally I'd start even lower, at 10 pence per spin but 50cents was the minimum here.

    20 X 50c = $10
    18 X 50c = $9

    Profit = $1

    You need a absolutely huge roll for this. If you had 12 consecutive losses you're gambling $1024 to win 50c essentially!

    Big roll and big balls required :)

    It's just explaining the theory, I cnt do it. lol.

    lose £1, bet £2. Lose £2, bet £4, lose £4, bet £8, win the £8 spin, returns = £16, overall stake = £15, profit = £1!

    I did my own wee test using wins of 20 and losses of 18 and it did work at $10. Suppose your profit just depends on how what your win lose ratio is

    Tried a formula but it was complete bs :)
