    I'm watching the darts aswell!.

The two bets i've put on are the following:
Beaton tol beat Rodrigez 3-2 (that has the makings of an epic!)
    Whitlock to beat Osbourne 3-1

It appears Beaton is looking good, he'll give the Hammer a tough test, both Wizards are looking good!

Steve Beaton over the last year has played some tremendous Darts and i think he's got a good shout of making at least the quarter-finals and Simon Whitlock has to be one of the most dangerous players on the PDC circuit and if he has a good tourney which i think he will then the likes of Taylor,Wade,Part and Barney certainly may be a little wary in drawing against himself in later rounds.

If im totally honest I don't think Taylor has to worry about anyone, but on the evidence of last night, providing they can keep the same standard Whitlock and Beaton could test the likes of King, Part, Wade and even Barney.

I hope your bet pays off tonight but later on in the tourney, i really think out of all the top seeds, Wade has the possibilty of slipping up big style to one of the lower seeded players as i watched him at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton and he simply did not turn up and ever since he won the Premier League earlier this year i've felt his darts and general attitude has been somewhat lazy ever since which is a shame because he is a world class player.

Great also to see the return of Magnus Caris aswell as the last match i saw him on TV was i think 17 years ago at the BDO world championship at Lakeside in a QF match - ahhhh those were the days!!!

Yeah, I'm watching the darts as well.  My money is on Raymond van Barneveld.  Could be a good clash with Phil Taylor.

Adrian Lewis and Wes Newton could be a good game tomorrow.

Anyone else spot any good game worth a flutter?

money down the drain, his attitude when behind stinks, watch my bet 2morrow if ya want a go lol (see above for previous bets lol) the pressures on for another win now lol
  • edited December 2009
I predict Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor will both win today.
  • edited December 2009

I saw a quote from a bookie laying 2/1 the field other than Taylor to win. No wonder i've started to find darts boring.

Whats happened to Barny? That final when he first switched from the bbc darts was ace. Hes useless now.

    Mervyn King for me!

    DOHH

I've just been looking on SkyBet and there are 2 players that i certainly feel have a cracking chance of making the final (Taylor will probably end up winning it as per usual!) but certainly worth an each way punt:

    Simon Whitlock (25/1)
    John Part (40/1)

and a possible little wager on:

    Vincent van der Voort (100/1)

I used to like Barney but his attitude in Las Vegas this year when Taylor started to exert a bit of pressure & took control was a joke. He was only a couple of legs down but he just started throwing like a kid in a strop. The crowd could see on the big screen that he'd just given up & wasn't putting any effort in so they started booing, I was booing at my tv aswell.

well peeps im +£30 so far on the darts bets so here is 2nites. really bad odds due to good players against poor players so im going for a little bet that may just come off

Taylor v Hines 1st leg no 180's @4/9 - taylor always starts slow and hits a lot of treble 19's in his combinations
Robert Thornton to win 4-0 @ 2/1 - hope it aint 4-1 lol this was a toss up
Alan Tabern to beat Dudbridge @ 8/11

A £2.50 wager got me returns of £18:71 for the treble - heres hoping peeps

watched simon whitlock today and he is looking very dangerous. although not sure anyone is really capable of beating taylor who looks awesome yet again!!
  • edited December 2009
Yep, still supporting the Stokies. Andy Hamilton is playing tonight. Used to play a pool with him and his brothers back in the early 90's in our Kidsgrove pub, so great to see him doing well. Adrian is playing well this time, and this quarter with Phil is going to be interesting... but it's Phil and I can't see him being anything less than devastating!
Great to see Simon Whitlock doing so well too :)

    Where's Hankey then? lol ....

Lewis never turns up when he plays Taylor

    Every game 100+ ave. - bet it's < 95 in the QF
