I have been mistaken for "Trevor Harris" whilst playing online...........
A guy at my table said "Are you Trevor Harris off the Telly"? to which I replied......"No m8, i'm not that good" and he replied "I did notice, thats why I thought it was him"
Had a horrible case of mistaken identity once, i had a job interview dressed up in a balance between casual and smart (nice shirt and jeans) as the job was pretty low key and felt a suit would be over doing it. Left the house and walked to bus stop to get bus there to save some time. Just as i arrive at the bus stop the local police stopped me, questioned me for 30 minutes over a fight because i "matched the description" of the person involved. Eventually way passed my interview time they let me go, after they proved it wasn't me. Not suprisingly i didn't get the job.
on the mistaken identity front I was actually arrested because the police thought I was that bloke a few years ago who had murdered two ppl in various cities around Yorkshire and was caught in harehills in leeds thankfully they let me go but my misses thought id been in the pub all day instead of cooking dinner
A hand from the 20k roller on 16-03-2014 id 756664896.
What should I do after the check raise on the flop Ross? did I get it right?
My thoughts were this, Top pair top kicker is unlikely as that is better to bet out with that, or to check call allowing your op to bluff.
As 2 pair is unlikely as he called a raise, it seems likely that he has either a set or a big draw.
If they have a set it is bigger than mine and I am in Big trouble. If they have a big draw, and it is possible on that board to have a straight and a flush draw, then I am not very much ahead. If I call then I will still be in trouble on the flop, as even if I am ahead what safe cards are there?. Should I just push then? as probably the draws will call now. Perhaps I should fold as I am either in trouble or it's close, Save my chips for later.
Your choice.
Obviously the result what right but this was not the best analysis, what did I do wrong?
I have some poker chips and playing cards that go in this fancy case, but something has gone wrong with the hinge and I can't shut it. Could Ross help as hes good at folding a poker set
