Activity Slowing Down On The Tables

I just recently played a tourney and half-way through the game the cards were being dealt slowly, no time to act etc etc.....you know the usual.

I clicked on Task Manager and checked processes, GoogleToolbar was chomping away at 80% of my CPU so I checked the priority on this and it was set to "low" from earlier on in the day (it sorted the problem that time).

So I decide to end the process, it closed down all my IE sessions plus the tourney (to be expected), I then restarted IE and logged back into SKY, and all was well for the rest of the tourney.

There seems to be a conflict between Flash Player and GoogleToolBar on my laptop (one for the SKY Techies to investigate)

Anybody aware of any other conflicts or short-term solutions?

    Guys,

I know you are sick of slow tables especially when they are affecting your play and ability to progress in games.

So I have raised this POST for fellow players to document when their PCs are running slow and include your individual analysis of what you think may be the problem, what were running concurrently at the time too - like other browsers/application/numbers - as much info as possible.

Hopefully, we will then have a list of scenarios for the teckies to go through and reproduce when they do their "thorough" testing.

Unless, you want to contunue being told the same old excuses - must be your ISP, clear down the Browsing History (which is BS) and have you tried switching your pc off and on again (which is BS No 2).

Together we can do this and the only thing we will ever have to complain about again is the sick Bad Beats (cos there ain't no fixing those) !!!!

    Post Away

We do strive to make the site as economical on PC resources as possible while keeping the look, feel and playability the best we can - which can be a fine line and with new functionality come new resource issues.

Obvioulsy the massive range of variables on home PC's does prove problematic - CPU, RAM, ISP, browser, OS etc. We would be very interested to know your issues and also your individual analysis as TheAAces suggests.

For any specific issues you post about please could you include and accurate time and/or hand ID. This helps massively when tracking down issues in log files.

For any major issue though please contact help@skpoker.com all call customer care.

As for the bad beats - well I can look into it ;-)
