Tuesday Night Live on Sky Poker TV with Rich and Karl (+ Last Longer competition)

Well, here's a first this Tuesday...

the debut pairing of me and Mahrenholz!









And here's the plan as it stands...

 

 

7pm- Final table coverage of Sunday's £15K Summer Roller Main Event. 8pm- Live action from the start of the £4K Turbo Open main event.
 9pm–10pm Live coverage from a couple of Sky Poker sit n' goes from beginning to end (we'll pick a random one one tonight- sit on one with a TV icon and it could be yours!)

11pm-  Live action and probably a winner from the late stages of the £4K Turbo Open


Yes, play in the £4K GTD Main Event this Tuesday night and have the added experience of watching the other tables play out on telly, and perhaps even your own.

If you send us a hand i.d. number and if we like it- we'll show it. It has to be one of the TV tables though- so if it's in the main make sure you get it into us early in the second hour and if it's cash, look out for it from 10pm. Oh, and for best results make sure it's one that has a good talking point to it.

And don't forget the Last Longer competition! Playing in the main event? Tell us on this thread that you want in on the last longer and the player that goes deepest out of those who enter will win a UKPC semi seat for tomorrow night (worth £48). Note that this prize is non-transferable, so if you can't play the prize then don't play the competition!

Now, as well as The World Cup there's another huge event in full flow right now...The World Series of Poker. And here's with many of Sky Poker's great and good in Vegas seeking fortune and glory, here's your mission...


    TOP THE WSOP!


If you were put in charge of creating a poker event that would quickly overtake the WSOP as THE one to play in, what would you come up with?


How many events? What kind of formats? How big would be the fields be? What would be the guarantee on the main event? What time of the year would it take place? In which country? Would you use a seeding/ranking system? etc etc etc


Perhaps there's a few unique twists you would bring to the mix to really stamp your mark on it and make it the ultimate tournament.


Serious or non-serious answers welcome as well as all your usual banter, questions and hand requests.
