edited October 2014 in Poker Chat

The full details will be on the Promo Page, & in the Lobby, in the next half an hour or so.

Satellites start TONIGHT into...

The High Roller

Fingers crossed, there'll be some Freeroll news you'll like, too.

I'll do all the spiel in the morning, but for now, if you have questions, chirps, or anything UKOPS related, you are on the right thread.

Great to see a "PL Omaha Hi FO"  on the 2 Nov!!  #justsaying  ;-)

Also, i'm assuming UKOPS will have it's own column?

Are all satellites intended to operate according to the usual sky rules. ie 1 in x wins a seat and the overlay if any goes to the seat bubbler. Or is there some unexpected change that means we have to read the small print.

The change for the Punta Cana final sat wasn't in any small print.  It was writ large right at the top of the promo page and was from the start of the promo!

It's amazing the number of people who have complained about this after the final when all they needed to do was check the promotion page and if they didn't like it, complain BEFORE the final not after it

Think I get your drift there Gelders.

I would assume it would be the "usual" Sky Poker rules, but I'm going to ask the question, just to be sure.

    I'll confirm later.

EDIT - have now sent an e-Mail asking for clarification. I would expect a reply this morning.

    Hi Geldy,

I believe that was an error/typo & it SHOULD have said......

    "...on Day 1".

It will be rectified this morning, I've sent a note Upstairs making them aware.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

  • edited October 2014

The total UKOPS Guarantee in the last UKOPS, in April, was £150,000.

Sky Poker Ch 861 will cover 6 of the 8 nights of UKOPS, being the usual shows on.....

    Sunday 2nd November

    Tuesday 4th November

    Thursday 6th November

    Sunday 9th November

Plus, in addition, extra "Live" Shows on.....

    Friday 7th November

    Saturday 8th November

Most Main Events will finish too late to be shown "Live", but the Final Table of all Main Events will be shown at the top of the next Show.

You can watch the Shows on your 'phone or Tablety things.......

...or, like me, on the telly......

The Sky Poker Jackpot will continue as normal thoughout UKOPS.

In EVERY case, on all 8 nights, the Jackpot will be on....

    8pm Main Event

    8.30pm Mini Event

No exceptions - ALWAYS the 8pm Main, & 8.30pm Mini. All 8 nights.

Please note that the Day One High Roller (2nd November) is NOT badged as a "Main Event", & starts at 7.30pm. The Main Event on Sunday 2nd November will be a £110 Bounty Hunter, with a £20,000 Guarantee.

Winning the Sky Poker Jackpot requires a mixture of skill, & luck, how else could this man win it?

There will be 5 Events each night except the opening night when there will be 6.

    The five events are......

    Micro

    Mini

    Main

    Challenger

    Sidey

On the opening night, the 6th Event will be the High Roller.

    So, 41 events in all.

Which gives me the opportunity to mention the fabulius Highway 41 in the USA, & show one of it's wonderful interchanges. Can't beat a really neat interchange, eh?
