Oh dear - just lost the £10dym - very very close but no cigar.
Was going so well with a s/stack to my right on the bubble too. I was 2nd short just behind 2nd place with a big stack to my left. At one point I have 2k to opponent <400.
shortie had it in bad against another opponent once and me twice and bounced back.
Then the hand that almost did for me - not a perfect hilo hand but Id rather go for hi only than lo only and as it turned out I was miles ahead but not to be. we were sb and bb, (not so) shortie (by now) min raised and I potted - both all-in - I have opponent covered by only 250 chips. I have AAQ9 with AQc. Opponent shows KTT3 with 3diamonds. 3 on flop, K on turn, blank river - sigh.
Started on my own miracle recovery when forced aipf from s/b v all 3 opponents - managed to split an 8-lo for a double up. Then doubled again. Then 2nd stack min raises button and I have AAT9 with ATh on BB easy shove with only one more big behind. Called and shows J326. Obviously now want a high flop - Q56, 7 on the turn - but the split still goood? J on river and its gg gn!
2 random pairs done me - not normally one for bad beat stories but on a £10'er not only a big swong B/R wise but means I am back to square one for the bravery challenge.
Finally got round to starting tonight, will play more on the double points week cestlavie 5292.50 1 £6 MB64 4157.50 2 £6 SolarCarro 2550 3 £6 Folded to the win in a £3.30 1/1 Posted by SolarCarro
Hi Dave, don't play anymore until gerardirl posts the leaderboard and you'll have the leading win ratio. ;-)
Double points week for SNG's! I'm sure we'll see lots more traffic, lots more results coming in, lots of people finishing by the end of the week. Pretty much everyone will play more I guess due to the promotion and the end of UKOPs. Apart from TK that is. He's going to look at a tunnel instead.
Improved to 23/33 and really getting a taste for these now having played around with a few different strategies. Had one needless exit early vs Macacgirl..... I think I still played it right but no need to go to war 6 handed.
Oh dear regged at lunch for a 60p dym to start the bravery cross. Didnt fill quickly enough so I deregged. Actually I thought I deregged! Logged off but the event went on without me another 0 on the record. Sigh. Will update after a crushing run this evening! (not saying which way the crush will be) Posted by Phantom66
Forget that game eh? play 101, or 100, as you missed that one. You know what I mean!
I think we're getting there now with the scores and it's easy to see who the five or six contenders are!
The second chance scoreboard thingy, I play so many I'm not going to keep on leaving messages of when I am starting again. Every time I finish 100 games, I'll post my score if it beats my current 60%. If it doesn't I won't bother. I'll then start my next 100 the following day.

Thanks for the thought but no I cannot do that.
It was my bad - and it will sit on s/scope.
It's a slippery slope if we start letting people off - where does it end?
We all benefit occasionally from another players misfortune - misclick/disconnect etc I'm just glad it was only a 60p loss.
I tell you what, when you look at those that are at the top of the leaderboard and the fact that even then they are making little or no profit makes you appreciate how much of an achievement Tikay's rise from £0 to over £1,300 was.
But don't tell the old bloke that or he'll get above himself!

It seems, by common agreement, that the standard of play is FAR higher now.
I still think I can beat the game, but I'm struggling to prove it, lol.
Hopefully, I shall be belatedly joining this challenge very soon.
Just been so busy with this & that.
Loving the enthusiasm on the thread, & some remarkable ROI's on display already.
Can't believe Eon is doing so well - he is 84 years old.

Don't forget it is "DOUBLE REWARD POINTS" all week on SNG's.
I may well donate later today.

Hopefully TK will join in soon, just after he has been to look at the tunnel thingy.
By the way...

Boring, is twinned with a village in Scotland, called 'Dull'
