We are live from 7pm- and the main event is a £55 buy-in with re-entry options and add-on options. But of course, you can satellite in for much cheaper (see the lobby) or play one of the many other UKOPS events we'll be covering on the show.

So, grab those cold turkey sandwiches and the rubbish toffee sweets left at the bottom of the Quality Street tin and get festive on that rubbish day 3 days after Boxing Day but still two days from New Year's Eve where no-one quite knows what to do.

And of course we've got the usual tournament prizes to give away for any hand requests we show and any messages we read out, including your input on this…

Sir Tikay went for your £2.20 @2.20 crown today,and came a very credible 3rd.
But he had 1000s of railers wishing him well, even players on the final table were wishing him well.

I've only seen one thing more shocking than your Xmas suit........and that's Stuarts Tea Cosy as pictured above (I can't believe it's not Rutter.....surely not?)

I had a solar powered tourch for Xmas although I haven't used it yet cause we haven't had any sun, so I would re-gift it for your outrageous xmas suit. (I think thats a good deal)

Hi Rich
I genuinely DO have a solar powered torch.

It has an internal battery, so I presume the idea is, it charges it during the day so you can use it at night (Not exactly ideal if your store it in a draw or your electricity cupboard lol) But don't fret the manufacturers have thought of every eventuality....it also has a wind up handle on the side to charge the battery.

Not sure anyone will ever use the Solar Powered facility if i'm honest

Hi guys.....re: your comment about how people are treating tonights main event. If somebody says they are treating this as a freezeout because a rebuy/addon is too much for them then surely they are highlighting themselves as a sitting duck to anyone who is watching the show or reading this thread??? If people know they aren't rebuying then won't it encourage them to heap the pressure on?

fwiw I have satellited in and can afford hundreds of rebuys!!! (may not be true!)

Don't mean to winge but I still don't have my entry into the UKPOS mini tonight that I should have as per the spot prize I was awarded last night. It's getting quite close to the event now.  It's not something I'd make up!  Was awarded by Mr Jarvis, somewhere around 9:30pm I think.

 Decided to have a bit of an early gamble. Need a few spare chips for when the internet crashes ten times.

 Basically decided to be a total pain in the 1st 100 hands and see if I could get the table tilted and gambling...then I hit a load of hands.

 Didn't even get action with my flopped quads!

the chance of hitting quad jacks without seeing the other players hole cards is 1 an 990  45x44/2

however the chance of the jacks winning is 1 in 330 in this case as the jacks have a better chance of making a straight flush than quads,
 that is 9 to king or 10 to ace.

JJ for quads
AQ for royal flush
Q9 for straight flush

NoThe RNG generates randomly at each step, as this prevents any spy software knowing what the next cards will be. Nort only do they produce a random number they then factor it on the actions of the participants actions down to the micro second. This way it is impossible despite the claims for anyone to know what card is coming next, and this does include the site you are playing on.

enjoying the show.  

Re xmas pressies, I dropped hints before xmas that the Sky remote was on it's way out (the 0 was wonky).  Anyway, I did get one on xmas morning, however, as a joke my son had replaced the new one with an old one we had lying around in the box, but not before he had picked out the 8, 6 & 1 buttons!!!  Oh how I laughed.
