    I haven't played for the last month or 2 which is why I'm not in your tables. but clearly my name is present near the top of the table for yearly results on the link aussie just posted after I asked for my data not to be coalated and published.

    But what can be done to stop it as anyone can do it if they put the time and effort into it and as for ok because this is a little PL08 league its ok now... i have not said any such thing it is just a fact that aussie is going to keep doing them no matter who likes or does not like it and how can i complain about him using results from this thread to make up a couple of tables when anyone that wanted to do it could.

    yes, anyone could (well some cant). whether they then publish it is another matter.

    I'm not going to derail this PL08 thread any further.

    Its a shame that after aussies original forum ban, he's been allowed to come back and create this external site, that as you say is beyond any control by sky or anyone else, and that opting out isnt opting out of having your data published.

    tournaments results are readily available and are recorded in numerous ways.  i produce two plo8 leagues for those that want to see them.  there are hundreds that do and suzy666 who doesn't. 

    the two leagues are in support of the efforts of scouse_red and churchy18.

    suzy666 has her own agenda.  she complains even though she barely plays here.  it was quite shameful the words that she has posted on the forum and in the chatbox trying to get her way.  i blocked her figures nevertheless she continues to access the site.

    my take on this is as follows................. this data can be found anywhere, I could if I had the inclination probably make up the tables myself, in fact I've messed around on my sheets and I can add or take away what I want, "I will not because Rob has put a lot of time and effort into all he does. 

    The option is now there to opt out this may just be a blip in the system or maybe it will only block from the date opted out I don't know......

    FWIW I personally think Rob's site is an outstanding piece of work whatever the perceived rights or wrongs of it

    I have no agenda other than to prevent my data being published on your site. it seems like a reasonable request to me.

    I have never written anything in the chatbox about your site, your accusation is inflammatory and incorrect, and the comments I've made in the forum have at least in my opinion been well thought out.

    I cannot access your site, you've blocked me remember? I few pages ago on this thread you posted a year to date league table.

    lastly, I wasn't aware that to have an opinion to be valid or listened to I have to play more. i'll return to the PL08 league when I feel like it.
