Nice one Rose! Glad ya made it. One to watch Rich......
i take the opportunity to play along with tikay, and you can too... Jonathon Wroe raises on the button to 800 at 200-400 tikay on the button lets me peek at Qs Qh my excitement is palpable He might not fold He raises to 2,125 in the big blind Keith Christie flats, and Wroe folds the flop comes 3h Ahrt 9c "i will check to the aggressor" says Christie (player notes need updating) so you are tikay...check or bet? have i missed it i would say tikay checked what did he do

That rather grumpy looking chap to The Ambassadors left is Mattprawn. Said Prawn is currently back at the hotel licking his wounds! Great day nonetheless, maybe next year. And hey, I've still got the sky poker hoodie!

Unlucky Matt - would have loved to have met you. Enjoy your hoodie though - I haven't got one yet and might have missed out as arrived here late.
i spent a bit of time watching tikay's table, he has moved opposite john duthie who is showing the worryingly talented ability to name tikay's hand before he shows it at every showdown
Quite discombobulating for the old man

Thanks Rose. I did try to track you down, but to no avail. Hope the cards run well for you, would love to see you do well!
"Never thought I'd ever be saying this but just folded KK pre. I'm 1st to act at 8/1600 and I've 66k. I limp, there's a raise to 4.5k, folded to me. I re-raise to 11k, villain pops it to 29k... I let go"

700,000 is the chip leader before today but we should beat that today with this many runners consolidating down
brilliant blogging guys, still feeling fresh even though you are over 8 hours into today's play. How many do you think will get through today? I'm guessing at 130
DTD-ACES £1,002,000 ! MASSIVE THANK YOU & 8 MAX DETAILS
What a day, we were short on qualifiers but scraped the £1M GTE, with Samuel Trickett again being the 1000th entry! Because we hit the £1M GTE, the 16 players who won £1K seats for Sky UKPC in live club events will be able to carry them over rather than have them added to the prizepool.
I would just like to say on behalf of DTD and Sky, thanks for supporting us again, and huge thank you for all the staff who made today happen. With so many players in the £1K main and rammed to capacity, of course, we were unable to start the 8 max, so I have spent the last hour consulting with players and decided to run the 8 Max tomorrow at £500+£50 buy-in, £50,000 GTD (so half the buy-in but same number of runners). Details of 8 Max;

Got above starting stack for about ten minutes. I liked it, made a really good fold that kept me and then got KK vs AA the next hand.

4th entry GG. Bluff gone wrong. Got pretty hero called but still a nice call!
turn turn came a middling diamond
the big blind bet
tikay folded
the big blind showed Ace-king
85,000 = his imagination
just before his dinner break he bet K-Q-7cc with Q-5dd and won the pot
he must have had a brain transplant, betting middle pair on a flushing baord?

hi rich,
good to see you earlier this adternoon, albeit far too briefly.
thanks for the updates.
the first a standard AK <QQ to double a shortie up and then he was all in pre versus Wesley James, recently moved to the table
QQ v KK. Julian with the Kings. In a reversal of the natural order of things, Wesley spiked a Queen
