I believe the points system for the team event began at 40th place and we have 2 of our team that have scraped through and scored points for Team SP:
Simon Pascoe (aka: Grimlock) - Finished 40th place - Scores 1 point for Team Sky Poker
Tina Johnson (aka: karlluke) - Finished 39th place - Scores 2 points for Team Sky Poker
However according to the day 1 league table, it sadly doesn't make great reading for us Sky Pokerites as there are only two teams that are in a commanding position (NI Poker and Team APAT) and they all but seem to be the teams that are in contention for winning the Team Championship.
But the best news overall is we still have 1 remaining member of Team Sky Poker remaining in the single element of the competition as Dave Thompson (aka: SolarCarro) is 7th overall going into Day 2 with 68000 chips (Chip Leader has 114000 chips!) and without doubt everyone that has played against Dave both live and online know that he has a superb game and i soooooooooooooooooooo hope he wins it all!!!....
I hope though EVERYONE is going to join me and give a rousing online applause and plenty of appreiciation to every single member of Team Sky Poker for their superb efforts in this APAT UK Team Championship and let us all get behind Dave tomorrow in his quest to take down this tournament!......

I'm headed back to Manchester in an hour, hopefully I'll be able to rail Dave to victory and the individual awards (I knew I should have swapped 5%!)
I'm also going to do a full writeup from my POV over the next few days and post it on the forum. I can remember most of the team's bustouts and big hands that I got told so it won't just be about me. Hopefully it'll be worth a good read!
