Sky Poker 6-Max UKPC sweat thread

  • edited August 2015

The Turbo Flight of the mini kicked off at 10.30 this morning, needing 50 to get over the Guarantee line.

There were 30 at the start, which has now become 43, so should be ok.

Fingers crossed, it gets there (it will), which will mean all three of the 6 Max UKPC Events this week overed their guarantee.

There's a fair bit of nonsense spoken about overlay. Overlay is always bad, for everyone - but its actually worse for the players than the organisers. The organisers have to make up the shortfall somehow, & guess how they do that? Well in one way or another, it will come back from the players, be it less money spent on Promos, or smaller Guarantees or whatever.

Anyway, it wont matter, as I'm sure it will cover.

Don't think they will make that known until the Turbo flight completes.

You made Day 2? It would be somehow fitting if you won the mini.

    2 players out...

Paul Eph and Adam M see a flop of 2 7 7. Paul ships it in. Snap call by Adam who has 7s 9s. Paul has AK and is drawing very thin.

Turn Q river 10, Adios Mr Eph (who I must say is one of the best looking middle-aged men I've ever seen in my life).

On the other table Rich Hawes and Tom K are all-in preflop. Rich calls Tom's shove, AJ vs J8. Tom is at risk.

    Flop 2 4 Q.

Tom turns a flush draw but it bricks out, Ace high is good for Rich, well played Tom out in 13th.

    12 players left...
