I sometimes do inplay bets but it doesnt really fit in for this thread as no one would have time to follow any of the bets. I dont do much in play bets though as you normally get bigger offers pre match, I will sometimes back a team who are 1-0 down to comeback and win the match though and you normally get good odds for that.
As for tonight i will probably just be backing a few of the underdogs as you often get a few shocks at this stage.
Just 2 for today 3.00 Line of reason evs £50 4,20 movie magic, 50/1 £10ew no idea why its such a big price i felt like it would be 12-16/1 so its still a punt but i reckon the odds will shorten a lot before the off Current Bankroll £1350 Posted by jordz16
Hmm not sure what went wrong with Line of reason, I was a bit worried when his price started to drift but to finish last there must have been something up with him as the ground was ok for him.

I've stuck a fiver ew on movie magic, only got 40/1 on sky though. What's you reasoning for backing it?

its a pretty weak race in all fairness, and the front 3 in the market all have big question marks about if they will get the going and the trip... Movie Magic is a worse rated horse but some of its best races have been over the distance and on similar ground... Had he of been under 20/1 i probably would have avoided him as he does have question marks of his own, also he was tipped up as a good eachway bet in the morning star racing section... If he gets backed in to 33/1 or less pre race then i will be confident he could be around the placings, if he drifts then it wont be a good sign

Out to 50/1 on sky......so not looking good. Nice if it comes in though!
Looked like he used a bit too much energy to get to the front, but you could tell by how bunched the finish was that it was a very poor/even race Posted by jordz16
Yeah, I got my hopes up for most of the race but he faded. Not a bad shout though
Birmingham to beat Villa 3/1 Always like to back an underdog in a derby match and all the pressure will be on Villa.
West Ham to beat Leicester, 5/2 Being a West Ham fan i normally always avoid betting on us but Ranieri has said he will be making a lot of changes and the West Ham board would love a trophy in the last season at Upton Park, plus it will be Carrolls first start in 7months and he will be eager to impress.
Wolves to beat Middlesbrough 11/2 Im hoping Boro will be putting out a weakened team as they will just be concentrating on getting promotion, I have no idea what kind of side Wolves will put out but at 11/2 they are worth a punt imo
Sunderland to beat City 6/1 again very unlikely but Sunderland will be desperate for any sort of win where as this is the competition City will care least about and may see it as a distraction.
Reading to beat Everton 11/5 I really do like their chances here, Everton have had a lot of injury problems and wont want to risk any more here, and were nearly beaten by Barnsley in the last round. (if Lukaku doesnt start and may add more to this bet)

Will be interesting - think Leicester will make changes but all the players coming in will be hoping to make an impression and get a place in the Premiership match day squad. If City lose the 'it's only a Mickey Mouse cup' line will be used and if we win then great, we're one step closer to Wembley. )
Same here had one win tho did the enhanced accy villa middlesborough and city at £50 at 5-1had a bad cash out on a accy was on £38 cashed it in and it ended up winning so bit up n down would of won £210!:( so far this week total profit £496 but down about £160 on losing bets tonight might just go for the enhanced Chelsea Man U Liverpool £50 at 1/1
Any thoughts on the players championship at the weekend last golf of the year? Ten pound each way on Jordan spieth ricky fowler Rory Mac and a outsider on Justin rose paying top five places

I like a punt on the golf but i dont know enough about it to have an edge, if you check out the golf betting thread then there are a few chaps who really do know what they are talking about when it comes to golf

It's hardly enhanced... 0.95/1 pushed out to 1/1
& with other firms the treble pays 1.26/1. Sky can be a bit misleading with their enhanced odds bets at times.

yeah i have noticed this its best to be careful, the only time that is good value is when the teams are bigger priced otherwise there is normally other firms who can offer better
