In Response to Re: rspca poker diary : Do you not think he can also have 42s,73s,75s,53s,J7s, not sure whether you guys would play J5s and J3s, he can also have 75os, not sure how low you go with slightly connected stuff but could have 53os as well. Also dont think its clear cut as 'oh if he had a good hand he would raise it otf' , because what does RSPCA's range look like ott when he c/c otf full of pair type stuff and draws, so gotta add some strong hands in there to protect it. Also looking at Darsum, what value hands does he beat of RSPCA's when he takes this line?, cause it looks to me that all he beats is bluffs or hands that have been turned into a bluff, and the only way its good is if RSPCA is overbluffing. 42s yes but if it was 42dd I would have thought we would raise flop as its such a monster draw. This would make sense as the ace hits and we dont seem to care that the ace has hit. Would we play 42 like this on the turn?
hi peeps thanks for all u positive comments and thanks for locking at the hand new it divide opion that's why I posted it. I not played much this week as been to the caravan with family and dog. come back fresh for ukops on Monday I might play Sunday but will see. Just played the speed tonight came 3rd so not to bd around 200 quid I think exit hand got it in with qjv aq a high bored gave me a flush draw didn't come on to the next one as there say.
My goals for ukops are 2ft main events and to win 1 side event but hopeful more.
hand posted below interesting what does everone think of the hand.
nice try on the flop, but when you are raised you might as well let it go, as you won't get many cards on the turn that'll let you continue to call the next barrel and you are out of position.
Isn't this a raise pf when we are 20bb deep?. Like I said dont really play a lot of mtt's, but have been trying to work on my mtt game, and have seen people mentioning about hs guys limping otb with like 10-15bb.
As played I think I agree with geldy, when he raises just fold, because I mean how likely are you to get this to sd, do you think a c/c line could be a good alternative?.

hi mate thanks for u comment yes I could 3x raise from s/b but I don't realy wont to get 20 bigs in with kq off against this player and if a 3 x it he is going to call a lot and im playing ofp in a inflated pot. yes 3 x getting it in for 20 bigs with kq sb/bb in perfectly fine and profitable move just like to mix it up a bit.
Hi all sry for not updating late finishes grinding ukops etc. it was locking bleak boomed first 2 days of ukops running/playing bd. down about 500 but managed to win the a ukops 20 deepstack for 720 ish which puts me back in profit by 100ish pound not much but happy tbh. having day off today not a fan of Omaha hope not to much value might have to play if so. I was running well in main yesterday was 2/100 at one point and then lost a bd one il post below for chip lead with 60 od left. But gl all in ukops lets get some wins.

Good read this diary, some thought provoking hands for a useless MTT player like myself.
With regards to the KQ hand, if we call flop would we not also call turn? I'd assume that we call the flop bet because we figure oppo to be betting a FD or just attacking our min bet (after not raising pre) - and certainly with a good FD he'd barrel in this spot, so a call from us seems fair... accepting that we may be punting for stacks on the river and are open to a lot of bad cards (any heart and probably any 5, 8, T, A aren't exactly welcome sights).
This is likely to be novice cash player thinking though, particularly as you probably have notes on such a well known oppo that have guided your decisions!
Well played chris on the 2k deepstack win i enjoyed the banter on the table ,you started to pick up some hands in nice spots once the snowball got going their was only going to be 1 winner....
