UKPC - Points Race

This month, we're awarding the top 8 points earners an £1,100 seat to the UKPC main event!

This points race is open to everyone. If you're in the top 8, you get a seat!

I'll be updating leaderboards as often as possible below. (Aiming for every weekday, but can't make any promises!).

    It's the month of January, & those points are "month to date".

    I have no idea how many points Alvez gets per week.

    It's worth remembering that we had double points on SNG week, last week.

    But yes, Alvez does put in quite a bit of volume.

    That's pretty good going!

    Don't forget, we'll be running an extra Freeroll in February with 2 UKPC seats up for grabs. This is only open to customers earning 10k poiints in January!

    Kirsty posted on the 20th. Alvez's points divided by Kirsty post date only equals 4,333 per day. If you want to match it, you can play £100 HU Turbo's like him aswell as 200/400nl.

    These daily numbers fascinate me.

    Alzez is slacking, a mere 5,000 or so yesterday. 5,000, yikes. Takes me a month to earn what he earns in a day.

    Meanwhile, "fromthebt" earned a whopping 9,000 or so yesterday. The mind truly boggles at these lads.

    Earning poker points is not big and its not clever.

    Actually trying to earn points is a school boy error.

    Every time you earn a point you are losing money.

    You should be playing in a way that minimises rake and hence minimises the points you earn.

    Paying rake and earning points is not a good thing.

    If someone earns say 5k in a month and pays 3k in rake and gets 20% rakeback he comes outs with £2600.

    If someone earns say 5k in a month and pays 2k in rake and gets 10% rakeback he comes out with £3200.

    *above is just a rough example to illustrate my point I am not saying you will get 20% rakeback if you pay 3k in rake etc

    When I used to enjoy poker I used to earn 40000 points a month but I never once tried to earn them.

    Why would someone say well done to someone else who has gone onto an online gambling site and paid thousands of pounds in fees in less than a month.

    The only people I would say well done to is Sky Poker and its employees for convincing people to come onto the site and pay thousands of pounds in fees in a month.
