Antoine Saout, presumably? Excellent spot, Barny, well done.

I only just realised that Darvin Moon had never had a single (recorded) Live Cash before his 6 milly bink. Amazing, really.

Play has resumed, it's now level 7, & they are scheduled to play 9 levels today. Late night it is, then.

Mr Channing is genuinely unwell, not at all himself, & there must be doubts as to whether he can continue. Fingers crossed.

Any updates on Graham Carter? :-)
  • edited February 2016

Meanwhile, alongside the High Roller, there is a 10 seat Mega Sat to the UKPC in progress, a Wednesday League Game, 6 NLH Cash Tables, & 4 PLO Cash Tables.

Music is blaring from speaks right across the room, way too loud for my personal taste, & the Plasma TV's are on but muted.

More disconcertingly, for anyone who has not visited DTD (those who have will know what I mean), the Valets, (waitresses in normal speak) are all rather young, maybe 18 to early twenties, splendidly built, & very pretty. Which, of course, is lovely. Except.......they wear very little indeed, a sort of swimwear low cut top combined with bikini bottom, cut rather tight, & booties. So ordering a drink or a meal is something of an ordeal, to be honest, I mean, where exactly is one supposed to look? If you see a 60 something old bloke looking at a pert scantily clad teenager, what do you think?

All joking aside, it's not something I like to see. Time & place, & all that.

    Anyway, on with the poker.

    BAD NEWS ALERT

Graham Carter is OUT, a set into a house did most of the damage I gather
  • edited February 2016

    GOOD NEWS ALERT

Mr Channing is feeling better (he had a meal which did the trick) & is up to a most healthy 55,000, after a BvB Jacks v Tens coup, AIPF. Very nice too.

Will do my best, Timmy, but with play about to end, I may have to await the closing chip counts as I don't know the young man, or where he may be seated.

Play has concluded for Day One.

Will try & get the overnight chip counts up soonest.

    61 Uniques, plus 7 re-entries - most pleasing.

Late Reg & Re-entry is open for 2 more Levels I believe.

Yeh it was trips into the full house of Brammer. Still think I could have folded on either turn or river, so a bit disappointing.

    Play as follows.

Pre hand stacks: StayOrGo: 60K, Brammer 90K

    Blinds 250/500/50

StayOrGo Raise, 1200  UTG+1 (7 handed) with 8dTd called by HJ and Button (Brammer), SB and BB fold.

    Flop: TT7 rainbow:
    check, check, check

    Turn: 2,
StayOrGo bet 2K, HJ fold, Brammer RR, 11K, I call. (Brammer was seen to bluff in this way on a previous hand)

    River: 9

I check, Brammer makes it a massive 30K!

In this spot I think I'm only ahead of a bluff, as all Tx hands, 77, 22 beat me. I felt it was 77, I tanked, but made the call.

    Yes it was 77.

I think, had I not seen an elaborate bluff (that ended up getting there), from him a few hands earlier, I could have folded.

Still think it was probably a fold on river, so bit disappointed. This left me with about 15K that I failed to spin up.

So who can find a fold here? :=) (honest answers only lol)

Thanks to those who backed me for this too. Sorry I didn't do better for you.

    Main Event tomorrow now (Thurs)

    Cheers,

    Graham

    your move is?

    so Neil folded

He then played 3 hands in a row, winning the last with Aces and is on 60,000

    the table thinks he's busy

He raises Ad Td UTG+1 to 2,000

Richard Pearson makes it 5,600 in the big blind

    Neil calls

    Th 6c 3d

    Neil calls 6,000

    4d

    Pearson sets him in

Neil has is playng 44,000 at 600-1200

i think he has 15 outs? 9 diamonds, 3 aces and the last two Tens

about a 30% shot and he's getting about 2-1 off the top of my head, so not qute the odds perhaps (?) but a big old stack f he hits

but he calls, misses and is out

    Pearson had Jacks, no diamonds
