I take it matt your scope results are not based just on rebuy tournies ,where you are paying rake on each rebuy add on?
If you based results on that do you reckon you would be anywhere near 85%?
If your results in rebuys over a long period. were you are paying rake on all rebuys/add ons are 85%,then yes you can call yourself universe boss if you like lol

Those results are on all sites, if you look at my sky only rebuy results on scope my ROI is 209%. Sample size is small at 526 games.
Your obviously a very very good player matt (I mean that ,and not being sarcastic in any way) Most players struggle to beat 10% rake, in fact its the 10% rake thats the difference between a player being a winning player and a losing player in a lot of cases. Posted by TheMadMonk
Correct & correct.
However, you seem to misunderstand the effect of raking rebuys. It STILL comes to 10%, whatever way you look at it. No rebuys, you pay 10%. 5 rebuys, it still adds up to 10% of your entry fees. If you enter & then rebuy 5 times, you pay £60 in entry for the prize pool, & £6 in Reg Fees (Margin). That's 10%.
If you paid rake on the original entry, & then rake free on 4 rebuys, you'd be paying 2% rake.
Yep we all have different opinions on the matter it seems Can I ask tikay (no need to answer if you don't want to)Have you ever or would you play a rebuy in a casino, where they were charging you rake every time you took a rebuys or an add on.?(ime talking rebuy tournie not re entry tournie) Posted by TheMadMonk
I don't mind answering, not at all.
I've no idea, I'd probably go along with everyone else in it & still play. It honestly would not bother me much either way.
But the thing is, if I strongly disagreed with it, the answer is simple - I would not play it. And if you don't agree with it, fine, same applies my advice would be don't play them.
I'm slightly puzzled why you have not raised this issue before - it's not the first time you have played a Rebuy on Sky Poker.
I'll add this, too.
Do I agree that Sky Poker add rake on Rebuys? No I don't, & I have only recently - last week in fact - suggested they re-consider. I doubt they will, especially as even 'Stars do so now, but that's my view.
Does it matter either way? In my view, all things considered, no. Let's put some context on this.
MTT's account for approx 17% of Online Poker Traffic. That's roughly the same as SNG's, with the other 66% being cash game traffic.
Of that 17%, how much of Sky Poker's MTT traffic is accounted for by rebuys? Well today, as a typical day, there are 12 between now (11am) & midnight tonight. (all of them relatively small). Out of a total of around 190 MTT's.
So that's approx 6% of MTT Traffic here are rebuys. 6% of 17% (total MTT traffic, roughly) so we are talking about, very roughly, 1% of all traffic. Personally, that's not something that is going to exercise me very much.
When I play rebuys.I normally stick to 1 rebuy 1 add on It costs me £5 more to play 9 £10 rebuys on sky.than it does to play 10 £10 rebuys on other sites. Each to their own.it's just not value in my eyes. I will still play on sky.just not rebuys Good luck at the tables all. Posted by TheMadMonk
That's completely fair, "each to their own".
Good luck at the Tables.
PS - Why are you named "MadMonk"? Are you a real Monk?
Food for thought, the UKOPs £55 rebuy did NOT have raked rebuys, part of UKOPs is obviously to attract more players to the site, it seems to me that they realised that players on the whole do not find it acceptable .
