Rest in peace to my beautiful Dad. Husband, father and friend to many people. Looked up to by many in the poker community.
He was so brave throughout this year and never complaint about the hand he was dealt. We did everything together and that will make these times hard.
I worked to give him hope and things to focus on by completing 12 challenges for Macmillan. These included a Half Marathon, the National 3 Peaks and playing squash for 24hrs
If anyone gets a chance, please check out my page:
Me, my friends and family have raised over £12,000 for Macmillan this year in his honour. If you are touched by the "C" and/or you feel my efforts have been credible please donate.

Horribly sad news on the forum today. Sincere condolences to Steve's family and friends. His courage and humour was incredible. I remember his amazing humorous response post to 'Itsover4U' (to do with that forum name) a few months ago.
Such sad news to hear Steve was a true gent - in every sense of the word - and a very lucky man to have such a supportive and loving family around him.
Very sad news, R.I.P Ice Tiger. Thoughts are with his family they can be very proud of him, just look at all these replies from the Sky Poker Community.

I felt a lump in my throat when he left us yesterday and still feel a sadness today, but it doesn't take from the pride and admiration I have for my Dad right now.
He suffered with that cruel illness for over a year. It stripped him of so much and left him vulnerable to the pneumonia that eventually took him, but he never let the poor hand he received get him down. He stayed positive and fought to the end.
He is a hero and remains in all our hearts now. His time on earth his over, but his legacy goes on.

What a wonderful tribute from Helen at what must be an unimaginably difficult time.
Thoughts go to his family at such a sad time
