Can I join too please if I haven't left it too late? Put me down for the £50 per month please PS I know nothing about horses other than stay well away from them - both ends!!! Posted by IrishRose
Great stuff Rose! Please can you set up a monthly direct debit starting on 24th April 2017.
Please see payment details on the thread below: (2nd post)
This sounds interesting Graham, and sharing the cost sounds sensible.Who makes the selections? Going for the occasional big jackpot, does the race containing the odds on shot need more scrutiny, as only 60% of odds on shots win? Ps.My selections in the nap comp are made just by finding something to run well( expected ) at a decent price. Not really a nap.Ive won 5K in a horse comp before, but your wins put mine in the shade for sure.Im interested to see how many respond to your idea. Not to say, "I told you so" Chill, but our bankers in the trial runs, have not been the problem, with them all winning.
Of course I am sure our "banker" will let us down from time to time, and sometimes crucially, but the problem has been with the big open handicaps, so we really need a banker so that we can perm the other open races significantly more.
Oh may our bankers keep winning!
They won't of course, and when they don't win, it will be painful, but I think we have to pursue this strategy. :=)
Yeah, you need your bankers to win for sure.Im a bit troubled by excluding bigger priced horses, as they could be far shorter come race time.Throwing in bigger priced runners in a jackpot, often is a winning strategy to scoop the lot.Odds of horses in jackpot betting means nothing.Youre not looking for value, just the winner. This Aintree meeting is obviously not comparable to the meeting for potential syndicate bets at lesser meetings.I did these jackpots years ago, you find the bigger priced winners, then your bankers blowout.Pffff.
