im sceptical atm, i can see some upsets but cant pick the upset if that makes any sense. will do my removers now and go from there. Posted by MICKYBLUE
OK, shall we pass?
It will take me an hour or so to do the A,B,C,D and E's so need to know fairly soon.
I am happy to give this one a miss if you feel it's likely to not be won.
We will always have other opportunities down the line, so don't need to rush into it.
I am happy to go with this - with my 2 shares it will only cost me £3.52 perhaps those with more shares would have different views! You might not get a lot of responses as people are at work etc. but as you have already put some effort in to this it would be a pity not to. If you others say no you should certailnly take their views on board though in the end it is your decision.
maybe stick with 3 in leg 3? thanks for listening Posted by MICKYBLUE
To have two selection instead of one in leg 6, and three selection instead of four in Leg 3 still increases price by 50%, so you need to take another one out somewhere
FYI, Midterm is a NR in the 3rd leg, so were we still in, that would go on the favourite and a potential double up if US ARMY RANGER won.
Horrible spot though as it would have crushed our coverage.
These things will happen from time to time, which is why it is so important to have latest NR info, but if withdrawn after first race, nothing you can do.
In Response to Re: ** JACKPOT SYNDICATE ** WE COULD GO AGAIN TOMORROW (FRI 12TH MAY) AT CHESTER WITH A £10K G CARD ** IF WE CAN GALVANISE TROOPS AGAIN? ** SO ANOTHER ATTEMPT? OR DO WE NEED A REST? :=) : NP. Removed Western Hymn 3.35 and Cheerfilly 4.05 in perm three to accommodate it. Cheers, G Posted by StayOrGo
LOL, bet you're glad we busted the first leg now. :=)
UL. You started with the premise that you needed a better than 1/12 strike rate so 1 win from 3 attempts is still a very good start. I think Plan A of one banker with only a couple of open races has the best shape to it but you have also proved that a Plan B can work too. Posted by Phantom66
Yes I agree if there is a feel good factor about the banker and the general feedback is go for it.
As you say it opens up our perm opportunities significantly which was the original plan.
The multi-perm option is really for two scenarios.
1) There are two clear bankers (2 perm with each banker used once, and 2nd banker + 1 other, so still allows for wide ish perm with other 4 races.) 2) There is no real confidence behind any one banker, but other than that card looks doable. (3 perm option)
The latter being relevant for yesterday and today.
Only 1.5 Units in the jackpot with 2 races left and spread with 3 half units on different horses in next. Not surprisingly 14.6k units left in the placepot. Posted by Phantom66

Would we have got it today, if we just had the one banker?
Possibly, depends if we could have found "Sound Advice" in the first.
I don't think anyone napped it and I removed it pre with no-one saying to add it, so probably still bust I think, but only just, albeit in the first leg.

We can be patient. ;=)
I will go with the consensus.

P.S. Added set in stone in that perm for leg 5.
I will work on the A-E's and we'll make final decision at 1.30pm
Made changes to perm 3 to allow two selections in last as per Micky's request.
Removed Western Hymn 3.35 and Cheerfilly 4.05 in perm three to accommodate it.
