Wel fancied city to throw a spanner in the works and nick a draw, didnt see this thrashing coming though!! Sigh.

Glad it was an early kick off and I have time to get another one on! :)

I watched until chelsea scored first goal, turned off as it was so boring. Playing supersix freeroll and the game went wild second half, goals and red cards. Out tonight so won't even see it on motd.

I see it has finished a few bets already.

i will start the sob stories,, got done by alloa, who were top of the league and 1 up, went 1-1 then opposition went to 10 men, alloa lost 2-1 to 10 men just typical, rant over as expletives are not allowed.

Chesterfield (first team selected) done me over. Still got an 8-fold so not all bad.

    What a disaster.

Only saving grace was the single cover bet on friday.

    £1.30 profit wooo hoooo.
  • edited February 2010
    Make that £11.30 profit.

Stuck £11 on both arsenal/stoke to score at 10/11 and its 1-1 already so weekend bets looking abit better.

looks like i may be quids in here.. confusion galore surrounding alloa v peterhead. game has been reported thru sky and the beeb and such like that the final score was alloa 1 peterhead 2. it turn out the scorer quoted had scored an own goal for alloa and not the winner for peterhead. been on a forum and spoke to people at the game and they said alloa had definatley won. got to wait on press association who report these goals to confirm tho so here hoping. gtd i will have a long wait for my winnings if this is true

    You`re in TinTin.

Sky Sports Score Centre (on the Sky Bet page) has the result confirmed as 2-1 to Alloa. winning goal in 79 minutes by McDonald.

    As Mr Burns would say......

    Excellent.

    Well that's another disappointing day.

Main acca - Chesterfield let me down & it didn't help that the Airdrie game was called off which didn't help. FWIW, I picked up a treble from this for a couple of quid.

Long shot - As expected, it didn't come in although I must admit, of all the games to let me down on this Burnley & Swindon would've been the last ones (expected Newcastle or Norwich to be the first to let me down here)

Under/Over - AARRRGGGHHH - 1 game killed this. As I was checking through the results I started to get all excited as this was the last one I needed (Orient/Swindon).

Never mind, I'll try and have a look at some of tomorrow's games if I get the time.

Well done to all those who managed to beat the bookies today.

Well done to everyone who made a profit today. I didn't so me and Cheryl are rooting through trash for tonight's meal. Good job i've got a gsoh and thanks to reading A Brief History of Time i've got a great knowledge of what to do when i'm confronted by a black hole ;-)

Managed to pull 2 of my 7 bets off this weekend! made a decent profit, and would of been alot more if hibernian didn't concede in the 85th minute...

Put a quid on Celtic to bt rangers, villa to beat manutd and leeds to beat melbourne.

    33/1
  • edited February 2010
2 small acca's for me today.

    Liverpool to beat Blackburn (H) @ 4/11
    Rangers to beat Celtic (H) @ 5/4
Man Utd to beat Villa (90 mins) @ 4/5
    Fulham to beat Sunderland (+1 goal) (A) @ 4/6

    These 4 are paying 8/1

My pick of the European games as follows:

Bordeaux to beat Le Mans (A) @ 4/5
FC Twente to beat NEC Nijmegan (H) @ 1/3
Sevilla to beat Atletic Bilbao (H) @ 8/13
    Roma to beat Napoli (A) @ 7/4
    Sampdoria to beat Napoli (A) @ 11/5

These 5 are paying 33/1 so I'll be perming in 4 folds too.

    Good luck to everyone today.

Didnt have a bet yesterday because I was stuck on a course all day and ilike to follow my bets.

Have a £10.50 acca today on these matches

    Manu 4/5
    Liverpool 4/11
    Bordeuax 4/5
    Wolfsberg 10/11
    Bayern Munich 4/9
    Ac Milan 2/9
    Juventus 4/6

Pays 274.13 if it comes in, which would be really ahndy as the old betting fund is looking very bare

Well bayern Munich won so its all down to Juventus at home to palermo, surely they arent gonig to let me down.

Sadly because of the postponed game it only pays £152.29 instread of the £274.13 i was hoping for but still not a bad return from £10.50
  • edited February 2010
gl Gareth, fingers crossed for Juve tonight. Are you going to lay a few quid off on Palermo or the Draw?
  • edited February 2010
Thanks Emily, I thoguht about it, and probably should but im not going to, ifit had been £200+ i think I would have done.

Should be a clsoe game palermo are only a point behind Juventus but have a poor away record, I think its 2 wins in 12 matches.  Last away game lost 4-1 to Roma, its on espn as well so will be able to watch my bet come in/loose

Fair shout Gareth, bonus that its on ESPN so you can keep an eye on how the game is unfolding. Hope Juve score the first goal. Had a wee look at the Juve game on my bet that went up-the-swanny early-doors. Juve are a wee-bit unpredictable (IMO) so if they do score first...it might be prudent to lay £20 or £30 (of your potential returns) on the draw and maybe £10 on a Palermo win that will be at least 10/1 (especially if its the second half.)

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

    WOO-HOO!

Well I got one winner this weekend with the 8/1 shot which leaves me about £20 in profit so not all bad. Shame the 2 Italian games let me down on the other one (Sevilla result pending)

There's a few League 1 & 2 games Tuesday night so I'll take a little look at them tomorrow. Probably steer clear of the midweek internationals as there's likely to be very little value in them.
  • edited February 2010
Well done, unfortunately i could'nt leave it alone and turned my £11.30 profit into a £4.70 loss with some bets that looked very good on paper but not to hot once the games kicked off.

Oh well, lets have a look at those midweek games.

    Be lucky.
