    Some good stuff already listed.  My favs at the moment include Elbow (saw them recently with the Halle orchestra), Flaming Lips, 'Britpop' era stuff like Blur, Oasis & Pulp.  Radiohead always deserve a mention.

    my favourite band of all time are weirdly an american band called journey, every song of theirs gets you hooked and my favourite "dont stop believin" is absolute massive where i live due to my father playing it in the pubs he runs,

    Most of my favourites i've seen live like Linkin Park, Metallica, Biffy Clyro (a good ayrshire band now massive!) Lostprophets, KoRn, Fun Lovin Criminals.

    If anyone is a fan of rap music there is Fort Minor which is Mike from Linkin Park's hip-hop side project, amazing lyrics.

    For those who want to check it out, it's called Endtroducing and is much better than his follow-up album, in my opinion. Also worth looking into are some of the side projects he's been involved with, most notably the first UNKLE album, Psyence Fiction and the production work on the Quannum album, 'Spectrum'. He's left both of those since, as far as I know.

    Far too many too list!! i am the kind of person that if i like something i'll buy it or listen to it :) i even have a pavorotti track in my itunes and it's not neusum dorma :)
