In Response to Re: WSOP Live Update - Three go into Four! : grrrr id typed all this out was just waiting for todays new update thread before i posted it lol n1 mere Posted by 35suited
Apologies. Not for the first time, I appear to have "peaked too soon".
I'm sure that it will be worth re-posting this on the day five thread.
What a brilliant night, I was following all posts on this thread as well Pokers News live updates and Twitter feeds at work on my iPhone (but unable to post).
For Guy to get that far when he spent the whole tournament virtually card-dead is amazing, if he'd been dealt some cards to play with I'm sure we'd all be celebrating triple success.
Tony did brilliantly to cash, it was that remarkable comeback from 18K that won it for him, congratulations.
As for Sue, this is becoming a fairy tale, she's going into day 5 with a very playable stack. As far as I'm concerned she's got as much a chance of anybody else still in the field (including Lolufold) of actually taking the whole thing down. We know she's got the game, all she needs is the cards. I like the table draw, the most important thing is the stack sizes, Sue has avoided the monster stacks and she'll start Day 5 holding more chips than 5 of the other 7 at her table. Tonight that iPhone won't be leaving my hand for one minute again. Wishing you the very best of luck
Whatever happens now, for Team Sky to have scored 2 cashes is a fantastic return. Very well done to all 6 players and the Sky staff over in Vegas for all they've done.

Wikini4U....You're right, it is. Will Brewin got into the money in 2008 & 2009 wearing Sky Poker Colours though he did fail to reach it this time round.
OMG i was nervous reading through the updates this morning as had alot to catch up, glad i didn't stay up although i did end up watching that poker lounge on C4 Well done Sue keep it going, your doing great and we are all very proud of you. wishing you all the luck in the world!!! x Tony well done on the cash, excellent effort hanging in there and we are all proud of you Guy-Direwolf as i said your a hero to go so far and so near, nice to hear from you on here and chin up obviously wasn't meant to be ( but your still a legend I am so proud of all the sky poker players who have done soo well, hopefully one day that will be me Last thing i bet Candi still hasn't gone to sleep lol x Posted by YOUNG_GUN
if candi did get some sleep she`ll soon wake up with nitemares about a steaker with a rubber donut lol
This has been an amazing thread right the way through, the efforts of the team in vegas vibrating a feeling of total involvement for any body reading as reflected by the excitement of everybody who has commented. As for the players, nobody has let the team down, even the early exits. To get 3 in the top 1000 is amaxing, to get 2 in the cash is SUPERSTUPENDOUS. Bad luck to Guy to just miss out and unlucky Tony on not quite lasting to day 5. As for Sue, she must know that teh whole of Sky Poker is routing for her to take allcomers on and beat 'em up. The very best of luck in day 5 and ...............who knows?
Just trwaled thro the thread and it was well worth it. Well done all Sky Poker players who went to Vegas especially Tony and Sue. Go on TEAM LINCOLNSHIRE.
Good luck on day 5 Sue.
By the way does anybody know how many ladies left.

I think there is only about nine left.....so they ALL could make that FT in September
Once again I'm overwhelmed by your kind words and terrific railling from the UK, they are always at the front of my mind when I'm playing, and wanting to do well for you all is a major factor in why I'm in Day 5 (this is a serious Janice from Friends moment).
Dan B, you are a great guy, and as everyone knows you are destined for bigger times in poker.
Like everyone else I'm shocked and surprised to get this far, on-line I play for the entertainment more than anything, but coming here and listening to all the guys talk, made me think more: things like:
What am I beating? Am I ahead?
I've amazed myself with the hands I've folded, but with the structure here (Tika is bang on on how good it is) allows you to pick your spots, or retreat for a better chance latter.
As Tony S said in his interview last night any of you could be here next year, it's the trip of a lifetime.
Here's hoping it carries on a little bit longer, and we keep you up late tonight.
Sue is currently in 250th place with over 500 players remaining so is in the top half of the chipstacks so has a great chance to progress a lot further.
Having stayed up to make sure the guys cashed late last night, I could not take anymore and caught up on it all this morning. The most amazing thing of it all was not that fact that the 2 of them cashed but the sudden leap to 372k from nowhere!!!!!!! Such a playable stack now than just clinging on to get to day 5, I gotta really good feeling about Sue conquering the world!! Go get em.
Superb run for both Guy and Tony, gutted Guy didn't quite hang on to cash and seems a real nice bloke so made it worse. As for Tony, knowing his game as a lot of us do, I had no doubts he'd do so well. Well done to all of you and heres to another late night ..............

Just caught up on all the exploits... WOW!!!
Congratulations Tony, you have cashed in the WSOP main event and nothing can ever take that away. Looking forward to that blog fella!!
What can you say about Sue? Utterly brilliant and hope you at least ladder up a few levels...then you can start dreaming of that final table.
And remember...dreams can come true!
