I thought the guy had overpair. Should have folded pre to be honest if I'm going to be folding 8 high flops. 

It was a bit sick that it's an 8 high flop as it allowed the pre-flop raiser to continue strong as he thought he had the best hand, whereas i misconstrued that for his pre-flop strength! 

i doubled up a few hands later :-).

Then bombed out a few hands later on a bluff. :-(

I know this hand has been passed by the size of the blinds, but i would really like your opinion as to what i might have done. Was i right in calling to treble up for the chip lead os fold and preserve my status in the game?
