Wouldnt have normally had it but opened a new betting account today and its a free bet they gave me pays just over 6/1.  Only opened the new account as i fancied a couple of horses today and couldnt bet here as ive banned myself from vegas and skybet for 5 years after 1 to many drinks the other day.  Been a good day so far £150 up this would just be a nice bonus.

5 x 4 folds allows you to have one of your 5 selections let you down & you'll still pick up a win, a kind of safety net if you like. As an example you pick 5 games like below:

What you're actually doing is placing 5 bets like so:

So you've got 5 different bets. If you then stake £1 per line (per bet) your total stake would be £5.

What most people do when they do these is to also have a straight forward 5 way accumulator as well so if all 5 do come in then your winnings are that much bigger.

Six selections but rather than have a acca where all six have to come in i've bet it as 5folds so its 6 bets at £1 ago allowing one of the selection to lose and i will still get a return on my bet.

Hope that makes it clearer.

What a tough weekend for games. Odds are either ridiculously short or too close to call but I think I've managed to find a few.

3 Bets for me tomorrow

Main Acca:

Arsenal to beat Blackburn (A) @ 4/7

QPR to beat Derby (A) @ 7/5

Oldham to beat Yeovil (H) @ 4/5

Dunfermline to beat Stirling (A) @ 8/11

These 4 are paying a very reasonable 10/1

Arsenal have got off to a reasonable start with a draw at Liverpool & then giving Blackpool a right kicking at home last week (although by all accounts they really should've hit double figures). A trip to Blackburn can be a tricky one although I really think they'll sneak this one. Even more so if Fabregas & Van Persie return to the 1st 11 as is expected.

QPR have flown out of the blocks winning all 3 games so far & scoring 9 goals without reply. Despite winning at Leeds on the opening day Derby appear to have slipped back into their usual inconsistent routine again with defeats in their last 2 games. QPR have won on their last 2 visits to Pride Park & they should make it a hat trick here.

Paul Dickov has got off to a good start at Oldham & they should be able to overcome a Yeovil side who are not the greatest travellers.

Stirling are finding the step up from the 2nd Division tough with 1 draw & 2 defeats in their opening 3 games so far & it looks as though they'll struggle again against a Dunfermline side with experience at this level.

Couple of big priced singles that have tempted me too. Norwich @ 3/1 at Forest looks overpriced, a Chelsea-Stoke draw at 7/1 is worth a quid of anyones money and although I dont normally back them very often, the 2/1 about Newcastle United at Wolves is worth a look.

Agreed great 'saftey net', BUT if you are backing your judgement to the tone of 6 x £1 5folds, why not have an extra £1 [only 20% more] on the 6-fold......am asking politley? Does that not make sense oram i missing someything?
