im paranoid and i dont trust skybet due to 11months continual bad luck.  But if u did win this one Tikay without asking for a certain lucky card to hit the river.......Well Done Sir, well done indeed.

Skybets profit = 11% down.....wish ud of granted me more than awful luck on skyvegas now a?
11% so im dreaming, but i think the rats here cheat....and im thinking "do they think i deserve
nothing but bad beats and blank spins on slots, misses on roulette and always killerballs on
the end.....and for them to be millionares?"  u see how i support the 11% becoming a much higher
loss percentage now?  excuse my manners, retorical me is off now to post elsewhere.
well done tikay, but if u cheated or agree with cheating, unlucky at the end mate

If he keeps this up, he may one day be worthy of challenging Mr. Orford.

    Sorry - forgot to add the " ;-) ".

Shucks, ty ty ty. I never logged on until 40 minutes late (I reg'd overnight), so maybe thats the answer! I'd only lost a few hundred chips when I logged on, too - great structure.

Since Pre-Vegas I've been on THE mother & father of downswings, beat after beat, & some poor play by me too, which inevitably follows downswings, but I believe you have to be stoic & dignified in these thing, not start blaming others, or the software or some such nonsense, & wait for the results to come.

My luck turned big time tonight, & it's amazing, one win - I think it was about £150 - & the confidence soon flows back.

I must large up Vince - Mere Novice - who I somehow suck-out on time after time, always getting it in behind with KQ. I bust his Kings with KQ last week, & tonight I bust his Dominating AQ with KQ - hitting not once, but twice. He's only recently returned to Sky Poker, & his Table demenour - helpful, supportive & humorous, no bad-mouthing at all - is an example to all of us. And his Maths knowldge of the game is stunning - read some of his stuff in Poker Strategy, & you cannot fail to learn.

Also a big-up to MAZERAIDER, who was an unlucky Runner-Up tonight. With 3 of us left, the short-stacked third player Disconnected - can you imagine his angst? But MAZERAIDER quickly agreed to "stall", run down the clock as much as poss, & we agreed to "check down" the Disconnected players Big Blind. (He actually won twice from three when checked to every street). He then returned, fought on to become temporary Chip Daddy, before Busting in 3rd. GREAT gesture by MAZERAIDER. The poker purists & egotists will scoff, but I thought it was a lovely thing to do.

See you tomnorrow, for the £3 Deepie - HUGE field expected. Be there!

    Hi

Way to go tikay, I have to say, the players have been phenominal with bad beats and outdraws taking them in their stride, not moaning once, MadMoo, Vince and Mazeraider to name but three.

The chat in these games are always superb, funny, informative, curteous and everyone is always ready to give advice should it be needed (tikay as always), although I do try to help if tikay is busy though I have not got anywhere near tikay,s experience.

I really appreciate your help when I'm playing Barry, thanks. I enjoy the questions, but it's hard to keep up with them when I'm 2 or 3 Tabling.

I see you are entered in tonight's Orfordable - Good Luck. You deserve it.

Forget the money, forget the win. The Bragging Rights over Orford were all that mattered.

And we are doing tomorrow night's Show together.

You gonna hear some serious chirping.......

Well done Tk, and in particular, credit to both yourself and Mazeraider for your gesture of stalling the game due to igimc's connection trouble.  A nice touch.

    Well done Mr Tikay sir.

When you're on a downswing to get sucked out on or get out drawn time after time you do get to wondering what you have to do to get a winner.

Young Richard Orford is noticable in his absence on here....

OH RICHARD!!!!!   Congrats for the man please.....No sulking!

    Subject: remember me?

this isnt Sean, but i do play (used to) at your thankfully unsuccessful
poker site.  ive decided to leave because your software is fixed
and ive not been at all lucky on your casino.

that sounds like a random unhappy customer does it not?  i think we
know each other better than that by now anyway.  the bad beats
you've chosen, the hours on 20p a spin with no features....and in
return i like to think that ive cost u more money than ive lost with
u as a punishment for your site being sh?t  AND fixed.

i hope ive succeeded in getting u wound up as a thankyou and
returning tilt from where it was dealt and i wish u all the bad
    profitable luck in your future.

Remember u are going to hel for being at all biased in the first place
    wont u?!

love from Forby (random disatisfied not loyal customer)

hmmm, removing all my posts should tell u theres more than a lot of truth in my stories, 100% true.
i have £47,000 accumulator bets and about £15's worth in total so why i would ask for my account
closed is beyond me, what a little madam of a company skybet is ah?

OK- that's 1-1 as it stands.

Thing is, there's tonight's tourneys to go before tomorrow's show. And to kick things off I've signed up to tonight's inaugural 7pm Orfordable and then the 7.30 £400 D/S.

So as far as I'm concerned, the bragging rights go to whoever lasts longest in those.

As for who that will be, I'm not one for making bold statements but put it this way, I've just got my A Game down from the attic and I'm dusting it off as we speak...

    Good on yer TK!

If yours is the mother and father of downswings mine must be up to the great grand mother and father!!!

Having to re load my account for 4th time (each time smaller amounts tho) so I can try out the Orfordable tonight. Seem rude not to as I requested it!

Did you get your pay rise by the way or did Rich get it?

PS. which tourney did Rich take down? i've been off for a few days licking my wounds!!

    Hi Saint,

I'll answer this at length, as I get asked this a lot, usually in the Chat-Box when I'm 2 or 3 Tabling, & it's almost impossible to explain it properly under those circumstances. I have answered the question several times previously, but it's a good question, because you make a good point.

It is utterly wrong to have Duplicate Accounts with the intent to gain advantage by masking the identity of an existing Alias.

    But I have TWO Accounts.

    How so?

First up, both have been unchanged since they were set up. Secondly, both are in my own name - one is "tikay1", & the other is "TIKAY10". So I'm not hiding behind any aiases, & players are never in any doubt it's "me". Getting a handle on your opponent is part & parcel of poker.

I originally set up my own Account as "tikay1". It's my "personal" Account, & I fund it myself, just the same as any other Sky Poker player.

The other Account (which I also use as my Forum Account) is "TIKAY10", is my "Play The Presenter" Account.

This was set up by Sky Poker last May, when I started Trialling PTP Nights, which eventully went Live a few months later, & I was fortunate to be one of those selected to be on the PTP Rota.

The PTP Accounts are funded by Sky Poker - they Deposited the Cash in the Account. I do not suffer any Losses on this Account, nor do I benefit from any profits. The money belongs to Sky Poker.

When we do PTP nights, the object is not to get all lairy & bust players (even if we could!), but to just chill with the Players, & answer questions about the Site. It's actually quite a tough gig, as the questions do come in thick & fast, so it's difficult to concentrate on playing serious Poker, & most of us don't really try to - that's not the point of PTP.

So my aim on PTP nights is just to maintain the Balance Sky Poker "gave me" 15 months ago, & thus far, that's the position. I've never needed it topped up, so that's perfect. (A point of some pride to all the PTP-ers actually).

In fact, these days, I play most nights on the Site, & 90% of the time it's on my Personal Account, "tikay1", but really, it's no different than a PTP Night for me. I still field all the Questions such as I am able, & I'm happy with that, as I am engaged by Sky Poker to carry out various services, which include being  sort of "Ambassador", if you pardon the grand title.

Were I to set up a third account now, in a "secret" Alias, that would be wholly improper of course.

I hope that answers your question fully, & that others, who I know are curious about this, can see it's all squeaky clean.
