    I won a  deepie tonight for £100 or so,

    I swear hand on heart for over 95% of the hands I should have won, I actually did.

    For me it is a first.

    ~I truly think I got what I deserved.


    I won maybe 2 hands that I shouldn't have  out of hundreds. In a deepie. It was unreal.

    Back on track, I get bad beats galore here. Maybe I'm an idiot? Maybe not? The main thing is that I enjoy playing here, met a lot of the players (physically, I know it's scary for some of us). Can we please just lighten up about bad beats and river draws and eveything. Get it into perspective people!!!!!

    p.s. Greg, is that your best avatar, a chicken on a ball?

    Here's a thought MickJenn1 and all MickJenn1 lovers; how about you stick to your illterate ramblings in that MickJenn 'HOW TO GRIND 2k profit in 30,000 small stakes tournies thread'cos thats what you people appear to be best at.

    A friend of yours called Dazler posted a thread just a few days ago on the same theme, where was you then MickJenn posting your reply?  Oh yeah right you was busy on your other account.


    While I agree with the sentiments in that people who think online poker is rigged are generally idiots, the hypocrisy that certain regular posters of this forum show is outstanding.

    I'm really not sure that you should be throwing stones here scotty77.
    I know that you like to stir people up and I guess that it may give you some kind of pleasure.
    You make some good points but it's obvious that you phrase them in such a way as to be deliberately provocative which is a shame.

    With regard to the original post - yes, I would expect more bad beats on this site than others.
    The main reason is that this site has more "inexperienced" players than other sites in my experience. They are drawn here because of the "sexiness" of the Sky brand and the TV coverage. This means more "bad" calls and more bad beats as a result. This is in "absolute" terms - not percentage wise which I'm pretty sure is constant over all online sites. You should expect this to be higher than live poker due to more experienced players playing online than live.

    If you can't cope with the variance (suck-outs) then I can only suggest trying different games. This may be on different sites but I can recommend the deep stack games at 7pm EVERY day. These are generally played by a higher percentage of more experienced players and bad beats are generally less.

    I hope that this helps but take from it whatever you like.

        Look Back in Anger.?    They should make a film about it.  People on this thread had a carisma by-pass.  BAD  player's know there bad dont need to be told like me their looking for help and support from who ever offers it.  Its up to them and me to decide if we want to take it. Who's to say one persons formula is no good and theirs is.  The proof is in the pudding sort of speek. Anyone who thinks they've got the holly grail to make players a poker god I'm all ears. Lets hear it.!!!!

    its seems to me most of these thread start off with a serious point(even it is saying its fixed,bots e.t.c.
    Then someone,usually the same person,starts negative comments towards the other players then the thread takes a whole new course and people forget the main subject of the thread.

    if the sky admin have a quick look through they will notice one or two names that seem intent of ruining every thread,even if they dont"break the rules"they are still spoiling threads for others

    Most other sites I play at low stakes are choc full of good tag regs and nits grinding out 1BB/100 hands on umpteen tables and fighting over the odd fish that swims by.  You can see the feeding frenzy when a couple of fish turn up by the huge waiting list to get on the table lol. 

    Much harder to make a few quid in those circumstances than on sky where there are plenty of players who think A rag is the nuts.  Short term variance will mess with you from time to time, but long term prospects for a competent player are excellent!

    sorry but have to agree with stuanne on this why just say guy cant play poker! have seen to many flops turns and rivers at sky that make you sit back and go no way.not sour grapes i enjoy my poker at sky and other sites sometimes you do need a bit luck if your short stacked but come on if 300 people in tourney and fin in 3 to 4hours come open your eyes? i go too casino every sunday starts at 1pm goes on till 5 6 am that cant happen on any site never mind sky its a machine dealingcards trying to get rid of as many players as quick as it can! NEVER GO ALL IN SHORT STACKED WITH SMALL PAIR NEVER EVER STAND UP poker game of percents and odds somebody tell me they have had pair stand up in that situation? any way got go just needed reply not just bad poker player that easy way out?

    LOL! Did I say anything about him being unreasonable.I was trying to get an issue resolved. I dont think I did.Im not on here every night so I dont think I spend hours trawling. I will have a look while im grinding online yes.I only respond to people who antagonise myself and others, which I have the right to do. I think it might be an idea for you look up the dictionary definition of HYPOCRITE LOL. At least my posts have a point to them unlike alot of yours.     know  how  u  feel  could  say  play  at  higher  stakes  but   it  happens  there   just  got  to  keep  grinding  away  u  come  out  on  top  if  u  can read  thewr  on  a  draw   make  them  pay  for  it  pump  the  pot  good  luck  at the tables
