Hi All

 Another great trny as always. 96 runners tonight which is a great turnout once again.

 Tonights trny was taken down by MrChuck who will have next weeks named after him. Good effort to ian4614 for 2nd place.

 After some consistant high finishes acebarry10 who is apparently a "newbie" has taken the lead at the top of the league.     nice one barry, I must admit I went for it tonight rather than the cash.

    I think i am close to taking one of these down.

    While I agree with the average thing - I am not sure it is truly representative- and yes there is a bit of a jealousy thing here- I have for example over 300 points...but stilll 35th with many above me with much less.

    Still, that was the agreed structure so all is good.

    I just don't want peopel to think 35th is bad :)

    Hi guys, great game tonight.

    First time I'd really played outside the £1 tournaments, might have built up enough bankroll to play a few more of these though, just not sure how often I can be around for 7.

    Well chuffed at knocking out Tikay tonight!

    How exactly are the points decided Flash?

    i believe it works like this: there was 96 competitors tonite, if u went out in last u get 1 point, 95th u get 2 points, 94th 3 points etc etc, so u would of got 96 points for winning, and i think theres a 5 point bonus for everyone who gets to the final table or cashes im not sure? and u get an extra few points for winning, but u have to play at least 3 of them at the moment to make it on to the league. well done on winning tonight by the way u played well.

    Congratulations on getting to 1st place Barry and very well done to MrChuk on winning the game last night. 

    A little disappointed to be behind Tikay in the league but at least we are on the same points.  Hey Flash, shouldn't this be in alphabetical order if we are on the same points, or is it a case of age before beauty lol

    Congrats MrChuk! At bubble time I think we were battling for survival somewhat so well done

    I'm not in the charts yet I think I've only played two (was on 13 points after game 1 from memory).

    Rofl at Flash and tikay, er me top of the league? heeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllp, I dont like heights ;), I am currently grinding away to try to get enought cash to go into tonights deepy, we will see how it goes.

    Have to admit have really, really, really enjoyed playing them, great banter, and playing on tikay,s table well against the great man himself, I was not worthy ;)

    Hoping I can join in tonight, but if not will be railing anyway, whatever happens, good luck to all the players.

    Cheers mate. I was all in 4 times, and had the best starting hands all 4 times. people seem to call you wit nothing just to get your bounty, i was all in with pocket 10's twice and i called by 97 and 42, so if u pick ur spots is easier to double up. Also you get a lot of players limp in hopig to hit something against you, so if i had the bounty again i would rasie alot more pre flop than i did. All i would say is play patiently and wait til you know you're infront and just push, because people will call you with rubbish.

    Fair cop Guv, you caught me bang to rights.

    I was short & jammed with A-8, you looked me up with 8-8, leaving me a bit "thin"! Nice Call bud.

    A flop of 6-7-9 gave me a bunch of split pot outs, which would have been unjust, & you dodged those outs, & the stray Ace.

    I was actually gutted to depart (was it 30th or something?), as I so enjoy these Tourneys.

    Very well played by you. These things take a bit of skill to run deep in.

    Im now looking at taking this league a step further as its become so popular!!

     I am going to split the buyins over 3 divisions, you can play in any/all the divisions you feel. Its just to counter the points difference from the £11 buyin and the £3.30 buyin as i dont want people to not play due to their not being many points up for grabs, that goes totally against what im trying to do with this!!

     Rich has kindly offered to put a prize up for the 3 winners, whether it be tournament entry or merchandise, so WELL DONE YOU!!!


     I will finish this league off at the end of August and start fresh from september, with hopefully it running month after month.

     Good luck all, hope to see you tonight.

    We are all very grateful for your work on this League Charles. Leagues add that little bit of "bite", & this will grow & grow.

    It is impossible to set it up to be "fair" to everyone, but no matter, as long as we all take it in the intended spirit.

    I will continue to play as many 7pm League Events as my Diary permits, irrespective of buy-in. The lower buy-ins ones have the Bonus of a bigger field to navigate through, so in some ways they are more of a challenge.

    I love them all.

    Good idea about the leagues Charlie. If a few of the smaller bankrolled ppl can then do well in the £3.30s they can dip their toes in the £5.50s league etc etc in the end you may see someplayers making it up to the £10 league. FUN FUN FUN and nice one to SKy Rich/Sky for providing prizes.

    YES AGREE WITH SPLITING INTO 3 LEAGUES.AS THEN IT CAN BE DONE ON TOTAL POINTS RATHER THAN AVERAGES. MY 3RD PLACE SEEMS A LITTLE BOGUS AS IVE ONLY PLAYED 2X£3 AND 2X£5 A BIT UNFAIR ON ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ALL THE BUY IN LEVELS. BUT THE LEAGUE IS GREAT FUN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
