blinds 100/50. raise up to 600 with jj. get called by 87 they hit trip 8's. short of being an idiot who just shoves on every level with every hand i wanna play don't really see a way out of it. when people will call with anything then hit can see how people just get fed up with it here.. do i start calling with that & j3 (yesterdays lucky little munchkin).
not gonna say it's rigged cos i don't think it is but play bad/play good it doesn't seem to make a difference. and variance is all well and good but losing out in tourney after tourney in a row when you have them crushed is dis-heartening in the extreme.

Lordbobby this is what you want ridiculous calls sick when they hit but still correct play will pay off in long run

YEAH , BRING ON THOSE BAD BEATS LOL
P.S- spare the dealer tho, not their fault, they are merely the unwitting heralds of the poker gods will.
PS. DEALERS ARE THE FIRST TO GO , LINE UP AGAINST THE WALL NOW
Bobby, I was playing live cash tonight and a guy drew out on me with a straight vs my top set costing me a big pot - what did he call my big raise+bet pre&post flop with? Q4 offsuit! (And a lot of people say they only call with this kind of hand online).
What really stung though, was that I was playing above my bankroll and therefore my comfort zone. Of course I wanted him to call, I knew he would pay me off with garbage - but when you're playing above your limits, the suckouts really hurt - this is the key to poker.
Always play comfortably within your limits, keep improving on your game and try to build your roll slowly, it'll pay off handsomely in the end - best of luck.

That made me laugh. Pure reality driven honesty.
