Raking in More than you should?
15k Primo Entry £50+£5 =£55.00
Primo Satelite £11+£1.00=£12.00
Primo Sats have a 1 in 5 entry - that means entry into the primo is £55.00 + £5.00 rake, whereas direct entry is only £50.00 + £5.00 rake.
Why is the entry fee £50.00 + £5.00 rake for direct entry - but £55.00 + £5.00 rake for satelite entry?
Surely for satelites it should be £10.00 + £1.00 Rake (1 in 5)

Yet the sats are £11.00 + £1.00 which is £60.00
They can rake satellites Trev, its not illegal
So if your theory is correct, they should be charging £10.00 + 10% = £11.00
nice analogy mr loony, making me hungry lol
Because a primo entry costs £55 total (£50 +5), and a £10 (+1) buy in (5 QUALIFY) would only cover £50 (£10 X5) so it wouldn't be enough for an entry!
£60 - £5 is £55= a seat.
you are basically saying that they shouldn't rake satellites. I got it.
If they charged £11 they would be putting the satellite on for free, as 5 x £11 = £55 which is the cost of the primo for buying in directly. So they wouldn't get any rake from the satellites that way. Sky has always charged rake for primo sats so not sure why you suddenly just noticed?
We have to remember they do this to make money and offer many players the chance to get into the more expensive tourneys at a fraction of the full cost. If you want a smaller percentage of rake then buy in for the full amount, not that makes sense really.

I know the sat is £12.
I know the primo is £55
I know that £12 X 5 is £60.
So the difference of £5 between £60 and £55 is £1 RAKE per person for the £12 sat. So it is £11 +1. This is correct.
If they charged £11 total for the sat (£10+1) this X 5 would be £55. This covers the rake and entry for Primo itself, but it would mean that no rake is charged on the sat itself.
They are entitled to charge rake on any mtt including satellites of up to 10%. In this case they could charge £1.10 rake on the £11 fee But, they only charge £1 rake which is 8.93% which brings it up to £12.
The end...
I'm such a thicko sometimes - sorry for causing you a headache lol
EdiT~ Ps. I deleted my other post when I read your next one and it suddenly dawned on me soz.
