Its quite simple, they are a buisness and therefore will charge for playing all tourneys, except freerolls, so on that basis the cost of any satelitte has to cover the cost of the rake of the satellite and the full cost including the rake of the main event. We have to remember they do this to make money and offer many players the chance to get into the more expensive tourneys at a fraction of the full cost. If you want a smaller percentage of rake then buy in for the full amount, not that makes sense really. col Posted by mr_mbro
except when its a rebuy off course, but don't mention that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15k Primo Entry £50+£5 =£55.00 Primo Satelite £11+£1.00=£12.00 Primo Sats have a 1 in 5 entry - that means entry into the primo is £55.00 + £5.00 rake, whereas direct entry is only £50.00 + £5.00 rake. Why is the entry fee £50.00 + £5.00 rake for direct entry - but £55.00 + £5.00 rake for satelite entry? Surely for satelites it should be £10.00 + £1.00 Rake (1 in 5) Posted by POKERTREV
Rakes should be cheaper in winter ,like all garden tools at this time of year, check out your local Wilkinsons, problem solved.

I don't get it.
You pay your money, you take your choice.
It could be argued that the satellites are softer than the main event, so they still represent good value.
So wheres the £1 going ??????
