grrrrrrrr what do i do?

the player has been passive untill it`s me ( might be that ball as avater ) he has been caught bluffin, then this threw me< wat would you do ( hand id 308904574)

    You've commited about 20% of your stack into this pot, have 40+ BBs left, which is still a good stack at this stage of tourny.  If it was me I put him on Q 10 and fold, I don't think you are getting right value to call into what MIGHT be a split pot.

    u cant fold this in saying that you dont have the nuts so i would just have called his reraise

    but thats me being a nit

    i would also have bet out on flop and maybe the turn

    Tough 1 m8.  As far as i can see the only hand beating u is Q 10. Might have had the same hand, or hit 2 pair on the river.  Tough to call for tournament life.  My guess is that he had a hand like J 8.  Still a tough call.

    I think his all in after the river raising would signal alarm bells if he has been passive previously. I suppose the check check killed you on this one with obvious hindsight. His price on a gutshot was astronomical :)

    gotta bet to find out from the  way it went i cant work out if the guy had flopped a  set or rivered the higher str8 if u get a RR after flop then u got ur answer imo and why did u reraise the river if u wer gonna fold to the shove that makes no sense to me m8 but dont listen to me what do i know lol and im sorry but if thers only 1 hand out ther beatin me then so be it im callin every time !!

    The way he played it I thought he had 2 pair.  If he had a set i reckon he would have bet it before the river.  Possibility that he had 10 J.

    you got into the problem by not betting out on flop and possibly the turn if he  was as passive as you say there is no way he would have called a decent bet on turn to hit a 4 outer and you would have took the hand down there and then ,checking the flop is criminal to me at least ,you wont always hit but at least it lets you know where you are with the villain.you got yourself into a bad position with his jam after your reraise ,as i said i would call and if he has q 10 so be it

    but betting out on  flop and turn and i dont think you would have even seen a river card tbh

    surely they would have bet had they q10, id say they hit 2 pair so snap call

    not easiest but 2nd nuts, cant see why they would check / allin in with q10 if they did i reckon they saw your cards you were holding them face up silly! lol

    had to with such a strong bet after my reraise had to change mind from him have two pair too have nut strate and as you said it was my tournie on line so still had enough blinds to find a better spot

    hi gregg i hope it was the fold off the century, but if it was the bluff off a life time,then fair play , still annoying what did he have  got to admit the all in threw me, i still think he had 2 pair  but it was tournie life  and to admit was sooo close too calling

    edit* with the fold ie( dollie) still had enough blinds to  play with

    i reraised too get player to call or fold - ed ( value town ) giddens - but when all-in had to fold in case he/she did have 10/q - i still had enough blinds for better spot to win tourny

    i'd bet the flop, turn and river. RAMP IT UP man and JAM the lot in on the river. in less than 1 second you know if it/he/she has q-10. if you are still waiting after the first second you win.     i still think fold is wrong here, i'd love them to put on the clinic n will be lookin out for it.

    I think 99% of time villain here does not have q10, at worst they have the same as we do split pot but as u say its for your tourney life so not the worst fold tbh

    if u dont plan on calling a shove then dont 3bet the river imo

    i'd find it hard pushed to put him on 2p and be raising for value as the only plausible 2p that doesnt bet turn is j2 or j4 but they wont be shoving over ur 3 bet with that

    if he hasnt been out of line and u dont think hes a donkey i think you can fold as at best its a split but in real time its prob hard, depends on structure of tourney too
